24.01.2022 Yesterday we had the pleasure of being invited to witness our islander guests perform their New Year Day celebrations and have lunch with them, it was truly amazing and it was enjoyed but all that attended, we are truly lucky to have such kind, warm and welcoming people stay with us and let us take part in there traditions. #feelinglucky #goodtimes #2020 #cressytasmania

All govt advice is being adhered to, social distancing and self isolation if necessary. 21.01.2022 We are please and excited to announce are 4 course Degustation night featuring matched wines by Longfords own Bell & Gong Winery. This is going to be a truly magical night with the guys from Bell & Gong talking about the wines and how they make them and the tasting notes of the wine. Saturday 7th December, 6.30pm Start.... Bookings only and extremely essential for this night. Unfortunately we will be closed to the general public for those who don't book in for the event. A small Non-refundable deposit of $30 is required per person to secure your spot. However, we have had to modify the way in which we operate (to be in line with government guidelines) to ensure the health and safety of all our patrons and staff. Things YOU need to know:... We have increased our already high standard of hygiene. Staff are regularly cleaning all surfaces including the bar, tables, chairs, toilets ect Our restaurant has been reset to coincide with new social distancing guidelines outlined by the Federal Government. Cutlery is no longer set for you; it will be provided to you when your meal is served. Bookings are essential to ensure we do not exceed our capacity. Rupert our new Sous Chef comes to us from Kings Meadow and brings extensive experiance and has a solid background in multiple venues across Tasmania and the UK, ... With Ruperts appointment it allows Wayne our Head Chef to step into his new role as General Manager of the Hotel as well as over seeing all kitchen operations and leading the Hotel forward into exciting new avenues. She has been with us for over a year and has always brought a warm welcoming environment to the pub for locals and visitors alike. 02.01.2022 Ringwood Hotel Tasmania like to provide you with an update relating to the Covid-19 virus. At this stage we are still business as usual (with a little bit of tweaking). We are also asking customers to limit using cash wherever possible and to encourage payment by card as there is little to no personal contact needed with the tap and go option. At this stage we are not experiencing difficulties with getting stock from our suppliers, but how long this lasts is unknown. We have ...been warned by a number of suppliers of impending shortages, so please be understanding that somethings may become unavailable which is out of our control. We will try to minimize this as much as possible. We have always taken pride in keeping our Bar and Restaurant as clean as possible, but have increased the focus on this by installing more hand sanitizer units and disinfecting as much as possible. We are committed to helping our community get through this difficult time and as such are working hard to provide takeaway meals and home delivery. And last, but not least, lets please look after each other. It is very important for us to get through this very uncertain and worrying time. See more
