15.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we announce that Major Peter Walker has received farewell orders today and will be leaving the Ringwood Salvos to take up an appointment at the Victorian Divisional Headquarters of the Salvation Army as the Divisional Support Officer commencing in January, 2021. We thank Peter for his leadership of the Ringwood Corps over the last 5 years and wish him God’s blessings in his new role. We also acknowledge the support that Major Karen Walker has giv...en to Peter over this time, along with their children Sarah and Nic. We also bid farewell to Captain’s Matt and Katie Ryan who have been appointed the corps officers at the Pakenham Corps. Whist their stay has been short, we are grateful for all of the work they have done with the youth and young adults over the last few months. They have certainly made an impact in very unusual circumstances and we wish them, as well as Ella, Georgia and Justice every blessing in this next season of their life. With this news, we can announce that Auxiliary Lieutenant Lisa Wynne will take up the role as Corps Officer. And we can also share with you that Rod Wynne will be commissioned as an Auxiliary Lieutenant and has also been appointed as the Corps Officer at the Ringwood Corps. We thank Lisa and Rod for answering the call from our Lord to full-time ministry and pray that they will continue to love Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that their ministry will never take from them their first love, Jesus Christ. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
