To be considered for the start list please enter via AV web site by 29th November: http://athsvic.org.au//co/national-competitions/zatopek10/ Rules The ladies and gentlemens competitions will occur simultaneously, but in the separate pits on the D (ladies on the outside runway). The winning pair is decided by adding each couples best heights. There will be no count back, so in the event of a tie, a jump off will occur in the usual way, but each pair will nominate one vaulter to take part (either the lady or the gentleman). The jump off start height will be the last height missed by the nominated vaulters. Start Heights Around 3.20 for the ladies and 4.00 for the gentlemen. Start List Once the start lists are finalised, the highest ranked lady will be paired with lowest ranked Gentlemen, etc Generally the 2018 ranking lists will be used to rank the vaulters. As each couple needs to wear the same colour outfit; so you need to contact your partner to discuss attire. This is not fancy dress (it is a serious competition named after Victorias most famous pole vaulter) but we want vaulters to look good. Once you have decided on your colour contact Mark Stewart, as we need all couples in different colours. First in best dressed. Past Winners 2014 Phillipa Hajdasz & Cameron Sherry with 8.20m in green. 2015 Alana Boyd & Lachlan Burns 8.37 in white. 2016 Annabelle Anderson & Max Mishchenko with 8.00m in orange. 2017 Grace Bath & Max Mishchenko with 8.45 (meet record) in yellow.

Open to athletes from U16 U20, the OXYGN8 Athletics Victoria Target Talent Program i...s a high-performance pathway program delivered in partnership with Athletics Australia (AA) and the Victorian Institute of Sport(VIS). For more information on the AVTTP and to see the full squad, click here: https://bit.ly/2CKwqeR The OXYGN8 AVTTP squad is selected based on athletes having achieved a set performance standard, which is both age and event-specific, along with a small number of additional selections being granted through consultation with our experienced State Coaching Team via an exceptional circumstances clause. Athletics Australia have ...taken the decision to cancel the 2020 Australian Junior (U14-U18) Track & Field Championships, which will not be re-scheduled and have postponed the 2020 Australian Senior (U20, Open and Para) Track & Field Championships to a date or dates to be determined. With the current threat of coronavirus impacting the health and welfare of Australians, Athletics Australia has today taken guidance from the Australian & State Governments (COAG) and other health authorities. This decision is in line with todays recommendation that non-essential gatherings of more than 500 people should not proceed.
