25.01.2022 JUNIOR TRAINING STARTS SUNDAY! We are looking forward to our Juniors resuming training this Sunday!... To those who are wishing to participate and have not yet registered, please do so before Sunday. If your child is not registered they CANNOT train as they are not insured. If your child is interested in training and hasnt yet registered or you know someone who may be interested in just learning what football is about, now is the time to try! Go Redbacks!!!!

23.01.2022 Today should have been the offical end to the junior season with junior Grand Final’s originally scheduled for today. While we didn’t get to play this year, we had lots of fun training and we’re all looking forward to being able to play in 2021! Thanks to all the great volunteers who made this year possible in difficult circumstances... Thanks also to the support of our junior sponsor Ringwood RSL throughout the year too. 21.01.2022 Today’s announcement by the Victorian Government unfortunately means we have been instructed by the EFNL that our Junior training has been immediately suspended and impending Junior season is now in question We are devastated for our kids and encourage you all to kick a footy around with your kids when you can! 10.01.2022 This week we are again hosting all 3 teams at our home ground which means a BBQ and open canteen to raise funds for our Junior club! This will be the last opportunity for us to do this for the season as we do not host all 3 games at the same ground for the remainder of the scheduled season. We would love everyone to help out where they can as there will be a few unavailable hands due to school holidays with absences of a few players.... If you could possibly help out in one of the below time slots, it would greatly appreciated! 10.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the new restrictions the 2020 junior season has been cancelled. As a club we need to thank all the coaches, team managers and volunteers who had put in a great amount of work to get the junior season ready to go before this announcement. A big thank you too needs to go to all members of our junior committee who have been incredible volunteers for our club in difficult times! The club also needs to give a special thank you to Laura Simkin who worked tirel...essly behind the scenes to get training going again and ensured that it was done safely. Thank you to everyone who continues to grow the junior division of our club and we will be back bigger and better in 2021. Remember to stay safe and check in on each other over the next 6 weeks.

09.01.2022 RETURN TO JUNIOR TRAINING We can finally confirm our return to training sessions! ... Training will be held on Sunday mornings and will begin on Sunday 14th June at the Junior Oval (Jubilee Park top oval). 9:00-9:45am: UNDER 8 BOYS & UNDER 9 BOYS 10:00-10:45am: UNDER 10 BOYS & UNDER 10 GIRLS 11:00-11:45AM: UNDER 11 BOYS A detailed email has been forwarded to all Juniors and it contains extremely important information regarding what is required at each training session. Please ensure that you familiarise yourself with the protocols as required by the governing bodies. Please check your email for this letter (and junk mail if not in inbox!). If you have not received it, please email [email protected] and one of our committee representatives will contact you. Remember it is the policy of GET IN, TRAIN, GET OUT. And please remember if ANYONE who is feeling unwell (child or parent/guardian) MUST NOT attend the training session. Although there has been no announcement for games at this stage, we believe that training is a great way for the Juniors to build their team relationships, exercise and, most of all, to HAVE FUN after a unique situation! 05.01.2022 On top of senior football and netball, we've also had to hit pause on another really important part of our club, our juniors. Since we got our juniors and Ausk...ick up and running again a few years ago it has gone from strength to strength and this year would have been no exception with us adding another 1-2 junior teams and again having an Auskick program 100 kids strong. Thank you to all the fantastic coaches, team managers, junior committee members, volunteers and parents that make our Auskick clinic and junior teams run so well. We're all missing the cold Sunday mornings watching the kids play footy and hopefully we're back into it soon! We also need to give a big thank you to our junior club major sponsor the Ringwood RSL. The RSL have been a sponsor of the junior club since starting up again and they are a big reason for its success, thank you for your great support!

04.01.2022 **COVID-19 UPDATE** The EFNL have issued the below directive to clubs. This will mean that all training and pre-season games for seniors, women and juniors will be cancelled until further notice. More information will be available later in the week and we will share that once it becomes available to the club.

04.01.2022 After obtaining a grant to build our new Junior website, it is up and running!!! This has been an amazing grant to receive and we are very excited to be able to have a website dedicated to our Junior Club. Registrations for the 2021 season will be going live soon and the link to register will always be available on our page (as well as posted on our Facebook page too!).
