Our crew are very appreciative of your patience while they carried out this work. 6.11pm update - Our crews continue to safely work on restoring power. Additional works are required which is expected to take up to 3 hours. We thank the community for their patience and also thanks to the crews working hard to safely complete the work.... 4.30pm update - Our field crew are continuing to work on restoring the power. The power is expected to be restored within the next two hours. Thank you for your patience and we will continue to keep you updated. Gove Operations is aware of the current power outage impact Nhulunbuy Town, Gunyangara and Yirkalla, due to a lighting strike. Crews are investigating and working to safely restore power as quickly as possible. A further update will be provided in 2 hours if power is not restored sooner.

10.03.2022 Tropical Cyclone Warning For Gove Operations Employees and Contracting Partners. This message was updated on 12 January 2022 at 9:57am.... Gove Operations advise all employees and onsite contracting partners that CONDITION GREEN (ALL CLEAR) of the Gove Operations Cyclone Procedure is now activated. The Bureau of Meteorology has removed the warning for TC Tiffany for Nhulunbuy and surrounding communities. The Business Resilience Team will continue to monitor conditions. All employees and contracting partners are requested to return to work as per their normal rostered shift.

We advise all employees and onsite contracting partners that CONDITION BLUE of the Gove Operations Cyclone Procedure is now activated. All areas within Gove operations are to begin CONDITION BLUE area cyclone preparations The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Tropical Cyclone Watch for Nhulunbuy and surrounding communities. Please ensure all loose items around your home are stored properly or tied down. Your Cyclone Emergency Kit should already be on hand and include food, spare water, batteries, a light, radio and first aid kit. All non-essential travel should now be cancelled. All employees and contracting partners should be prepared to enter condition YELLOW from now on. All rostered employees and contractors are to remain fit for work and on standby. This message is intended for employees and contractors of Gove Operations only. Members of the community should continue to listen to information provided by the Bureau of Meteorology. A further update will be provided at as conditions change.
