22.01.2022 WERE ADDING A NEW PROGRAM If ISO has taught us anything when it comes to training its that having options is great and not having equipment is no excuse not to train! So to build on this we are providing a no equipment, at home program that is programmed 7 days a week. This program aims to build the same work capacity as our regular CrossFit program, just without the equipment. This program comes included in unlimited membership to all our members so that even if they can...t make the gym, they can still train. The good news is this isnt exclusive to members. 21.01.2022 Mobility keeps you safe! Moving your joints properly with full range of motion will drastically decrease your chance for injury. Above anything else, we want you to be safe! Injuries occur because athletes make quick movements engaging the wrong joints. Take your time with unfamiliar movements and ask a coach if you need some pointers.
21.01.2022 MEMBER OF THE MONTH - APRIL DIMITY LOUREY Dimity is one of the most consistent and dedicated people we have the pleasure of training with at RIP. Week in, week out Dimity trains 5 days a week in our group sessions before ISO and now our virtual Zoom sessions whilst also fitting in an extra session on the weekend. She does all this whilst working long hours in a physical job and being a mum!... Since starting our Zoom sessions over a month ago there has not been a single morning at 6am when Dimity has not logged in and got the workout done, often being the only person to join the session. Over the last month Dimity has improved massively and contrasting areas such as hitting heavy numbers on cleans, getting way more consistent at double unders and even getting upside down in a handstand against a wall for the first time! Dimity is proof that consistency and persistence breeds results! Well done Dim, youve been crushing and the hard work is really paying off.

16.01.2022 FEBRUARY MEMBER OF THE MONTH ETHAN JEFFERY This guy has been with us since day 1 and has been a workhorse every day since then. From training 5-6 days every week to consistently posting some of the best scores to chase and even to helping with lots of jobs around the gym Ethan has been a massive part of RIP since the beginning.... Although hes known for his prowess in running and bodyweight workouts hes also been making some serious progress in his lifting, posting up some really good numbers in all of our strength work over the last few weeks. Ethan proves that consistency is king as he has attended 43 sessions in our 2 months of being open with an average of classes per week. He often has he work schedule switch between arvo shift, day shift and night shift yet still finds the time for training. Ethan is a pleasure to coach and train with and makes our community stronger for being a part of it.

13.01.2022 One of my favourite sayings...... Ive heard this one used in all different occasions. I use it regularly in weightlifting and have also heard it used with driving instructors. But today lets apply it to getting back into training, something which a lot of people are doing now that gyms have opened back up. ... The initial urge is common that you need to make up for lost time and go hard out of the gate. But this can often quickly lead to setbacks. So instead of going hard and fast, play the long game. So, are you going to have a hard week of training or a smooth one?

With our doors about to open once again we want to say a massive thank you to all of our members, friends and family who have shown us continued support throughout this COVID period. Being a brand new business it has definitely been hard being shut longer than we were open but we are so ready to get back into it! Cant wait grow our community and help everyone achieve their goals
12.01.2022 MEMBER OF THE MONTH - MAY BROOKE NELSON Brooke has been with us from the start and has been making consistent progress the entire time shes been training with us. Having previously done Crossfit in broken Hill Brooke already had a good base of training when she joined us and she has continued to build on that and expand her skill set. ... Brooke doesnt let a niggling knee injury, shift work or even the COVID pandemic stop her as she has been super consistent with fitting her training in whether its via zoom or at our park sessions. She even recently got her first handstand whilst training at home! We cant wait to have you back in the gym Brooke and youre going to be even fitter now then before we closed our doors.

11.01.2022 People joke that it's not a session unless you post about it, but it keeps you accountable. The same goes for training with a group of like-minded people. If no one knows you are working towards something, it can become easy to slack off. Good company can keep you accountable to get your workouts in and train hard each session.

Weve been closed longer than we were opened and we are beyond excited to get back into it!!!... Whos pumped to get back into training!?!!?! 07.01.2022 MEMBER OF THE MONTH - MARCH KRISTEN PRATT Our member of the month for March is another person who has been with us since day 1. Kristen is still only fairly new to CrossFit but has been learning and progressing quickly and its all down to her consistency. ... Kristen is our most consistent member as she averages 6 sessions a week! Since we have been in forced shut down Kristen hasnt missed a beat. She was there at one of our last sessions before shutting and was one of the first to post photos of training at home, still getting the work done. Well done Kristen, keep up the fantastic work. You are an incredible example of what consistency and persistence can do.

05.01.2022 MEMBER OF THE MONTH (Yep its very late but better than never) Our first ever member of the month, for the month of January 2020 goes to......... ERIN HARRISON Erin has been with us since the very first day and in that has managed to average over 3 sessions a week whilst juggling work, kids and even a broken finger! Erin is always welcoming, encouring and happy to be at training no matter what session she comes to. Nothing has stopped Erin being consistent with her training and its beginning to show. Huge technique improvements, better movement and gains are strength are already coming thick and fast. Youre an honour to coach and have in class Erin and we look forward to training with you for a long time.

04.01.2022 REOPENING SCHEDULE We will be officially reopening with our Saturday 8am session on the 13th of June and resuming our normal weekly schedule from Monday the 15th onwards. Current restrictions only allow 10 people maximum per class but this works perfectly for us as we already cap at 10 people per class to make sure you get plenty of attention from the coach and are never lost in the group. ... WHOS EXCITED TO GET BACK INTO THE GYM?!? Shoot us a message if youre interested in getting started! What better time than now?!
