24.01.2022 What ripple effect are you having? #MondayMotivation

21.01.2022 This week we had Georgia come in to volunteer with us. Georgia was amazing with the children sharing lots of laughs with the children. A special moment with Havana who was celebrating her 3rd birthday in the hospital too. There were a few children’s parents who mentioned that they hadn’t seen their children smiling and laughing in days until Georgia came along dressed as Tinkerbell. Thanks Georgia for coming along, giving gifts, volunteering and raising funds for Ripple Movement. Thanks to JoJos Central Coast for the amazing outfit and Hoyts ERINA for the movie vouchers!

19.01.2022 Massive effort from Nicole and Krystal from Wiseberry Real Estate - Kariong/Berowra and Wiseberry Coastal Real Estate yesterday at the hospital! Both real estate agencies collected gifts from their communities to give to all the children and Ronald McDonald Family Room Gosford. They were amazing elf’s and great with the children. We went a little over board with the gifts but it was beautiful to see the children so happy Thanks to Erina Hoyts ERINA for sponsoring us and JoJos Central Coast for the amazing elf outfits. Lastly, a big thank you to Highland Grove Preschool for collecting then donating many gifts on the day too, thanks ladies!

15.01.2022 So much energy and love in one visit, thank you Alexandra Louise McNally for all that you have done. Not only did you dress up as Sponge Bob Square Pants but you made the days of all the children in the children’s ward. You also raise one thousand dollars for charity which is highly appreciated, smashing your goal. One of the kindest and generous people known to Earth, thank you Alex! Special thanks goes out to JoJos Central Coast for the costume and also Hoyts ERINA for the donated movie tickets.

12.01.2022 PLEASE HELP BY SHARING THIS POST!!! Ripple Movement is about to launch a new program in addition to our work at Gosford hospital. I am excited to announce that we are going to host birthday parties for people who have disabilities. This has been a dream of mine for years around 4 years. ... The parties will be hosted by Ripple Movement and volunteers will dress up just like we do in the hospital. Volunteers will raise funds for Ripple Movement to cover the ENTIRE COSTS of the party. Ripple Movement will make an ongoing contribution to a charity related to the primary disability of the young person, each party. ALL MONEY will be used on the party and donation, NO MONEY goes to admin costs or as a wage to anyone. I need to know the following: - Do you know a young person who would like Ripple Movement to host their birthday party? - Do you want to volunteer with us? - Does your business want to come on as supporter or sponsor? We need cake makers, entertainers, face painters/beauticians, equipment, goods and many other things. Thanks from everyone at Ripple Movement, we LOVE your support! 11.01.2022 This week we had a magical visit from Elsa at the children’s ward at Gosford. Elsa did an amazing job and at times she couldn’t leave rooms due how busy she was when having fun with the children. What an amazing visit filled with smiles, fun, bubbles and laughter from all. Thanks for taking the time to visit, I know you made the day of many young children who had been spending at least a week in hospital by giving out gifts and vouchers. I know the kids can’t wait for Frozen 2 now! Thanks to JoJos Central Coast for Elsa’s amazing outfit as always and to our sponsor Hoyts ERINA for the movie vouchers.

The Family Room may be t...emporarily closed because of COVID-19 and we may not be celebrating together, but we are thinking of and missing our volunteers. 04.01.2022 Hello everyone, I know we have been extremely quiet lately due to COVID restricting us from our monthly visits to the hospital but we wanted to share this event with you all as we are the major sponsor.
