23.01.2022 Australia Day 2010 at a Hall in Mudgeeraba, Wan waits on stage to be called up and presented with her Australian Citizenship Certificate. From the ricefields of North-East Thailand to become a citizen of the Gold Coast, Australia. What a journey! To all the newly awarded citizens today, welcome and congratulations!

20.01.2022 Sorry I haven’t posted for a while. I had an accident and suffered spinal injuries. Now I’m in the process of a slow recovery. The best part is that I’ve had support from some pretty amazing people who drop in with a coooked meal or walk the dog or bring groceries and do all sorts of errands. Meanwhile, Ripples from the Wave is available on Amazon, kindle, Apple and several other platforms as an e-book or paperback. As well, I have copies I can send to readers who live locall...y, in Australia. Just get in touch with me and I can arrange a next day delivery. I hope you all had a lovely, relaxing holiday and did plenty of reading. Cheers, Sandra See more

13.01.2022 I had an email this morning from a reader who had just finished reading Ripples from the Wave. It was a Christmas gift and she wrote to tell me what a perfect gift it was for holiday reading. Thanks Stephanie. xxx

13.01.2022 Sad news. Today we lost Aye, Wan's brother-in-law. He passed away from a stroke in Nong Khai Hospital. Readers will remember him from the book; the uncle who continually went to the wharf to meet the longboats bringing back the deceased from Phi Phi Island. He searched for Craig for a week after the tsunami, until he found him. We owe him so much. He leaves behind his wife, Nom, sons Team and Diem and his daughter Bai. R.I.P. Aye.

09.01.2022 It's just a couple of weeks to the launch of Ripples from the Wave. The book launch is a free event at Avid Reader Bookshop in Brisbane but you need to book. Just go to www.avidreader.com.au/events and scroll down to 30th November and book. I'm looking forward to meeting some readers because I've met many of you online but this is an opportunity for a catchup in person.

05.01.2022 You've read the book so here are some more faces to connect with names in the story. Nine of Wan's family arrived in Australia from the village on the weekend. They're here for a short holiday. From back left, there's older sister, Nim (holding baby), Dana, Nom, Aye, Demi, a couple of chefs at the back, Sandra, Andrew, Wan, Nom's son, Deam and friend. Front row centre is Tim and right is his sister, Bai in coloured shirt.

Just go to Amazon.com and search for either the title or the isbn : 9780648347903 Up to this point, hundreds of readers have purchased print copies directly from me.
