21.01.2022 To succeed you must first improve To improve you must first practice To practice you must first learn And to learn you must first fail

16.01.2022 Angelique Sabaziotis has come soooo far in just 6 sessions of training with me. She has been thrown a few curve balls her way and she is now taking it head on with perseverance, commitment and determination. Each session gets better and better. She worked full body today and thrusted 60kg!! That's phenomenal... Amazing effort for her first heavy lift Having your ass twitching uncontrollably today was just gold...

15.01.2022 These progress shots were taken during Sameera's time with me. She came back to train after Covid on the 23rd May. I can't stress enough how important taking pics are to anyone's fitness journey. Whether it be for weightloss, weight gain or to build muscle mass, the camera doesn't lie... you can see it with your own eyes just how far you have come and feel it in your clothes. I never took any photos of myself during my journey and I absolutely regret it. I did not want to see myself how I was, only how I wanted to be.... Just looking at these pics is such a great way to stay committed, true to yourself and feel amazing and proud of the hard work you put in..... Yes.. I said HARD WORK.. NOTHING good comes easy, but you'll know you'll have it for the longhaul

15.01.2022 Apparently this was only a 2 hr assembly!!!! ... riiiiiiiiiiiight

15.01.2022 3 simple steps to making your goals happen Step 1: Decide what you want and FULLY commit to it. The Latin word for decide means cut off cut off any other distractions and fully commit to your goal.... Step 2: Commit to BELIEVING in your success. Believing in your goal is even more important than achieving it because you will live like you did achieve it. You have to recognise that you will keep committing even when everything says you won’t reach your goal. Most of us stop believing when our brains tell us we can’t. Step 3: Be brave enough to try a bunch of things and keep taking action until you get the result you want. Let’s say we look to the future and we go to the place where you reached your goal say you lost all the weight. You won’t remember the failures that seemed so important at the time. That Tuesday that you overate is irrelevant. Aren’t you glad you didn’t quit when the scale went up? Or when things got tough? If you know exactly HOW to do something, it’s not a big enough goal. If it’s a big enough goal worth achieving, it’s going to require some hard work and failure. Take a moment to think about what it would FEEL like to reach your goal. Confident? Happy? Capable to handle anything life throws at you? Comfortable in your own skin? How can you start living a little more like that person today?

14.01.2022 A variation to the traditional shoulder press I like to incorporate is using the landmine. Unilateral work (single arm) will work each deltoid individually and will allow you to isolate each side ensuring equal growth and strength gains. It will also indirectly work the triceps, traps and abs of course.

14.01.2022 New leadership board 123456789 Today Maria V smashed out a 3 min 23 second plank AFTER she finished a big leg session!! Who's up for a challenge? There will be a special treat for the longest held plank by 1 October

13.01.2022 Take the time to listen to your body.... Your body is working for you every single second of every single day to keep you alive, so listen to it when it's tired and give it the only thing it asks for..... a healthy environment. Take the time to care for your thoughts.... What you think most about will either have a positive or negative impact on your frequency, so keep it high and don't allow the negativity in to your mind space. ... Take the time out to rejuvenate.... We all need to re connect and just chill the f#ck out. Training and a healthy lifestyle are of major importance for longevity, but so is some "time out".... Without any feeling of guilt for doing so!!. Peace out

08.01.2022 Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally. It comes from what you do consistently. I hear allllllllllll the time about what these influencers on Insta are achieving and how amazing they look and the questions begin as to why their own journey isn’t going the same way. I need to make this clear..... Fitness is not about being better than someone else or looking like they do, it’s about bettering yourself each and every day and deciding to push more than what YOU did yesterday.. Fitness is mentally challenging and what thoughts you manifest is what will come into fruition and begin to challenge your body. This is YOUR journey and YOUR journey alone. YOU decide what your outcome will be. Only YOU have that power!! So PLEASE. STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO ANYONE and take full responsibility for your own actions and look at your own accomplishments as each day passes. Every session, every bead of sweat and every sore muscle is a step closer to a lifestyle change and a body made for longevity no quick fixes. My journey is different to your journey and your journey is different to their journey.. that’s what makes us unique #motivation #fitspo #gymlife #lifestyle #adelaide #healthylifestyle #personaltrainer #mindset

07.01.2022 230kg Thankyou very much!! Might not be perfect but I’ll take it #goals #strength #weights #gym #adelaide #beastmode #happy

07.01.2022 When you lift weights, you build lean muscle tissue which is more metabolically active than fat. When you increase your muscle, you also increase metabolism. Rather than worrying about weight or body mass index, we should be trying to maximise and maintain muscle mass. In turn, the benefits include bone density, lowering inflammation and fighting off chronic disease. I know first hand as I've battled with all of these symptoms during my time raising my family and unable to ...train for so long. Break down of tissue and muscle had a huge impact on my health. What could be better than giving yourself and that amazing body that relies on you to look after it, the longevity it so desperately seeks. So take your time growing because hard work DOES pay off. Look at the bigger picture, not just looking good now, but feeling strong and healthy for years to come!!! See more

05.01.2022 When life brings you COVID ... You show it that NOTHING can get in the way of your goals @a_yukich_fitness_journey you've shown me once again what you're capable of Simply amazing

04.01.2022 Winter is my time to bulk.. pushing heavy weights in the 4 months where I double what I eat. It's not my favourite time of year because I find it so hard as it is to eat let alone eating double my intake. Today marks the end of my 4 months of feeling "bulky". Now is the time to crack down and let those muscles shine through again.. Summer is coming!!!! Rogue.. I love and hate you

04.01.2022 Finally put my feature wall to use This program is for one of my clients who has some very big plans for an 1100 km race to Melbourne next year. So much fun researching and learning about a triathlete and what exercises will compliment and help him build both endurance and strength through conditioning.. Competing in triathlons takes a toll on the body, and strength training is a great way to reduce the wear and tear of the sport. The volume that swimming, cycling and r...unning a triathlon trains for leaves little time for the gym. The exercises I have chosen focus on the posterior chain (back, glutes, and hamstring) and will help with any muscle imbalances commonly found in triathletes. 45 minutes in the gym twice a week is all that's needed. I can't wait to help him excel in his sport The legendary Nick Filsell See more
