25.01.2022 We collect these 'rattler' beans from the Pormpuraaw beach during the cyclone season. Traditionally they are cut in half and strung together for traditional dance. At Rirranth Sewing & Textiles we are painting designs on them to be used as jewellery, magnets or as decorative 'jewels'.
24.01.2022 We are making jewellery (necklaces, bracelets and earrings) using shells, seeds and shark bone from our environment. We make the string using cabbage palm, and sometimes use fine leather thonging and ghost net.
