21.01.2022 NAIDOC March & BBQ Tennant Creek - 13th November 2020 What a great day we have had!... Approximately 200 people attended the NAIDOC March and BBQ, which was sponsored by Saltbush Social Enterprises and RISENgurratjuta. In attendance were several guest speakers, including the Mayor of Tennant Creek, Jefferey McLaughlin. The local newspaper was also covering the event. 06.01.2022 Beautiful and functional addition to the swimming pool in Mutitjulu. These unique benches were carefully crafted by the men from the Mutitjulu activity. They were then handed to the ladies activity to paint and varnish them like works of art. We took them to the Mutitjulu Tjurpinytjaku Centre and positioned them at the community swimming pool for all to enjoy.... Great job guys, these are such a beautiful and needed addition. 03.01.2022 During the school holiday the Rise-Ngurratjuta team in Elliott are working with Saltbush in packing and delivery of the food to support continuation of the Elliot School Nutrition Program in community. On the first day over 50 breakfast and Morning tea packs were delivered, and over 70 lunch packs provided to school aged children in Elliott. This program will be run over the next two weeks.
