In all seriousness though, i need to give a special mention to @crystalvas_radio for completing a FULL 60min leg day which focused mainly on progressive overload the entire way through Anyone who’s seen Crystal in my stories knows we have a love hate relationship when it comes to leg day ... To her absolute credit though she completed every set and every rep to the best of her abilities and left it all on the gym floor LITERALLY - she barley made it off the lungs track Couldn’t be more proud of you - keep grinding and pushing hard

30.03.2022 I still remember the first day I met Joseph Tackney ... He came into the gym after he finished work one afternoon and like many of us when we first start, wanted to cancel his membership. He told the receptionist he didn’t know what he was doing. Although joe was so keen to work hard and make changes, he was making no progress and felt defeated. ... Looking at Joe, a familiar feeling came back to me and hit me like a tone of bricks. I remembered being in his position, I remembered how it felt to have no guidance. But more importantly.. I remember how it felt when my PT took me under his wing and how it TOTALLY changed my life. Before he could say anymore... I told him: come and do 3 sessions with me. 12.02.2022 Don’t be afraid to get aggressive This is something I say to ALL my clients - when the weights start feeling heavy & the burn starts to set in, dig deep, buckle down and grind your hardest through those last reps. Now, please don’t take this as an excuse to scream the house down, forget your form, or throw your weights across the room. That’s not on ... Get aggressive, maintain your form, and when you’re 3/4 through a rep and you feel like quitting, remember why you’re doing this and GRIND

I watched every second of that 40minute game and to say I was on the edge of my seat would be a total understatement ... Along with competing in basketball, Branden also plays AFL ... AND does PT with me - mate your dedication to not only your sport, but your health and fitness as well, at only 17 years of age is something to be truly admired. There is no mystery formula The only difference between you and the guy or girl who’s ACTUALLY getting shit done is their drive and determination and their willingness to succeed Before I was in the fitness industry, I worked 2 jobs as a labourer and a security guard. There would be days where I’d genuinely only had 30 minutes to train, but you bet your bottom dollar I NEVER missed those sessions. 19.01.2022 TIME UNDER TENSION Regardless of what I’m training, TUT is HANDS DOWN one of my favourite methods to use By keeping the tension on the muscle, through the full concentric and eccentric phase, you are forcing your muscles to work harder and more effectively. ... This in turn, optimises muscular strength, endurance AND growth. The next time you train - WITH EVERY REP Ensure you’re focusing on a powerful concentric motion, followed by a strong squeeze at the top of the movement. On your return, reward your rep by completing a slow eccentric with a pause at the bottom of the motion. The pause is important as it allows you to keep tension on the muscle and stop you from using momentum to complete your next movement YES IT BURNS YES IT HURTS DIG DEEP, HUSTLE HARD AND GRIND THROUGH IT As always - if anyone needs guidance, I’m only a DM away

What’s important, is recognising when you’re here and not letting it consume you. Halting the process of self destruction is vital to your progression. It’s not that you ‘don’t have time’ it’s you need to PRIORITISE your time to make way for the things that are going to push you FORWARD If you’re feeling stuck and down in the dumps - sit down and reevaluate your week.
