24.01.2022 100 Calories - Could your choices be better? Empty calories or nutrition from fruit?

24.01.2022 Ron Troughton is an 86 years young veteran who is doing 100 pushups to raise funds for an orphanage in Kenya; you can donate, or join in the challenge to raise awareness of the campaign.

24.01.2022 A Sunday is a day for you and the people (and puppy’s) you love to spend quality time together, for you to retreat from the demands of the week, reflect on the past, to dream about the future but most importantly be present in the present for before you know it you will be reflecting apon it as it becomes the past. Our time is precious, treat it that way and be mindfull of wasting it but even more importantly wasting time that belongs to others. Your time is limited, so don...’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. Steve Jobs See more

20.01.2022 Do you know what 100 Calories looks like? It might look like this for you

16.01.2022 Can you imagine eating 3 large apples in one sitting? Maybe not? if you did you'd get around 300 calories, a lot of fiber, vitamins and minerals along with some sugar. It would take a little effort, but the pay-off might be worth it. Imagine taking 10 seconds to eat the same number of calories, with next to none of the nutritional value.. a cupcake might look pretty but your visceral fat wont.

10.01.2022 It’s time to get back to the gym.

ITEMS THAT ARE ACCEPTED Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard drink containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible for a refund.... Eligible containers must: Be included on the scheme’s list of products and display the refund mark (e.g. 10c refund at collection depots/points in participating State/Territory of purchase) The containers are counted and 10 cents per container is credit to a registered scheme. RiseFit has committed to support this initiative and has been registered as a business and received a scheme ID. We would appreciate your support in this initiative and also supporting a local small business by labelling your bags of containers with our Scheme ID and then taking them to your nearest collection point. 04.01.2022 CHANGE COMES SLOWLY SO JUST BE PATIENT. Your trying so hard to make a change in your health & wellness and you just can’t see any results so you decide to just give up ! I hear you and know exactly what this feels like. ... Try to focus on the behaviour rather than the outcome. The outcome, fat loss, muscle gain will come over time but only if you maintain the behaviour. Therefore see the results as the number of times you display the new behaviour.
