25.01.2022 Spring is here and I’m already missing the cool mornings as things begin to heat up. It’s hard to really complain in Queensland when you’re on the end of sunrises like this, and minutes later duck diving the waves on the way out for a surf. Looking for this view? Better book a trip to @northstraddieisland, part of the beautiful @redlandscoast

23.01.2022 Exploring the Tooloona Creek Circuit and Box Forest walk at O’Reilly’s Rainforest on a very wet day. It was hard to get the camera out for more than a few seconds with the heavy rain, but we waited it out and eventually the sun came out and shot through the rainforest canopy. 22.01.2022 A quick flight over Hinze Dam a few weeks back, before the rain set in. There’s some interesting looking landscapes around with the dead trees, vibrant green colours and moody mountains.

19.01.2022 Magical Mt. Mitchell Mornings

18.01.2022 Devil’s Kitchen cooking up a stormy stew. The panorama shows Lion’s Rock to the right and Alexandria Bay running north to Hell’s Gates. I was disappointed when I woke up to completely overcast conditions, but headed to the planned spot in any case. Fortunately the low cloud layer was fast moving and cleared off the National Park headland to open up this view for the drone. @ Devils Kitchen, Noosa National Park

14.01.2022 It’s amazing what you can see in just 24 hours at North Stradbroke Island

13.01.2022 As the story goes, a farmer settled in the peaceful mountains of Yamanouchi many years ago, and constructed his onsen around a natural hot spring beside his residence. He quickly acquired some messy, smelly and rambunctious guests from higher in the forest, as a family of snow macaques descended upon his private spa. Fed up with the snow monkeys, he hiked high up the into the mountains, found another hot spring and built the monkeys their own private bathing area to keep th...em at bay. It sort of worked, they still like the man-made structures. These days the monkeys spend hours each day swimming, grooming, eating, mating and playing at the Jigokudani Monkey Park near Shiga Kogen, Nagano Prefecture. It’s the only place in the world where you can catch a bus to the town centre and take a 45 min forest walk in -15 degrees celsius to witness these human-like creatures up close and personnel. @ Jigokudani Monkey Park

12.01.2022 This is one of the favourite spots I’ve been over the last few months in South East @queensland I have never seen a shot from this particular location, and love how the rugged rock walls frame the impressive Mount Barney in the background. Can you believe this view is only 90 mins from Brisbane city and the beaches of Surfer’s Paradise?... There’s been a few 3:30am adventures over the winter, venturing out in search of the goods in the beautiful @visitscenicrim and this was one of those gems. Music by @fordsounds

09.01.2022 Blood Orange Moon Spotted in @brisbane Check my Stories for a quick Moon Quiz #moon

08.01.2022 Have you ever been to Alexandria Bay, Noosa? There’s so much to explore around the beautiful national park walk, with several gorgeous coves and beaches on the headland. On this morning, some seriously moody low cloud rolled in and hung around Noosa which is rare to see.

05.01.2022 New Zealand turning on the mood as it does. Sadly the rain got too heavy to keep the drone in the air but it was pretty special to see what was up there! Snapped by @massie_bros

03.01.2022 A random roadside stop in NZ to snap any one of the following - sheep, mountains, rivers, lakes, someone from the group with their pants down. Cheers @ty_visual

01.01.2022 Mt Beerwah, QLD. A 26 million year old volcanic plug. At 556m elevation, it is the highest of the Glass House Mtns. A morning view of first light hitting the trachyte or ‘organ pipes’ looking from the North-West. Check my Insta for some photos @ risenfilm...
