25.01.2022 Council elections voting closes at 6:00 pm today, voters decisions and candidates fate has been sealed. I would want to take this opportunity to thank each and every individual out there who has been a part of this electoral journey with me. I have received unprecedented love and support from across the community and I am extremely humbled and thankful for the same. Irrespective of the outcome I want to thank everyone, this was also a great learning experience for me personal...ly. For those who were in the thick of this journey with me starting from my wife, kids and friends, I have no words to express other than my heartfelt gratitude. I have been involved in the community work over the last 10 years and will continue to do so simply because I enjoy and thrive supporting our community, it is just my way of giving back. 19.01.2022 As many of you are aware, this election there has been many candidates including myself are subjected to a lot of inappropriate comments, name calling , graffiti and attacks. But it has never shaken me and will never shake me as my focus is not the political opponents but doing the right thing. Then you get the emails like this, which is extremely humbling and motivating. It is a validation in what I believe- doing the best you can . I have never spoken to the above resident but I am so thrilled that unknown people have belief in me and support me so unconditionally. 02.01.2022 I am absolutely overwhelmed & humbled with the love, support and trust that I received from all of you in my electoral journey. It did reflect on the final results where I managed to get the 6th position overall after the allocation of preferences. Although we did not reach our desired objective, we were not too far away from acheiving it, the support came from across the entire community which was really encouraging. The support and results prove that we are on the right pat...h. To be honest, I was little disappointed with the outcome, felt l have let down those who supported me unconditionally, but the constant flood of messages and calls from many of you have given me strength and motivation to continue on my journey with renewed passion and enthusiasm. There were many who went out of their way in supporting me, I can't Thank you enough, I am grateful for all your love and support. I am even more committed now than ever to go out and keep supporting the community and making Wyndham a better place .
