Maybe group sessions are a little bit too much?... We all have different needs, desires & learning styles therefore our sessions will be structured uniquely to you. How the sessions are structured - - Get to know each other - everything we discuss in our sessions is 100% confidential. I will never discuss specific details of your session with anyone but you. Discuss current practice, if any. - If you don't have a current practice that is totally fine! I will help you take the steps you need to create yours. Boundaries - It's important we create boundaries. What are your comfortable sharing & receiving, what am I comfortable sharing & receiving. 23.01.2022 Introducing - @eddyshivaessence Eddy & I met on my birthday earlier this year at beautiful South Beach in Fremantle. Eddy had an epic setup with blankies, cushions, instruments & pretty lights. I wanted to come & play but I was a bit shy Eddy saw me on my own & invite me over to join him.. I was stoked. We shared stories & he played the handpan for me. Such a magical way to finish off my bday! ... Eddy was the first person to come to mind when I started creating my events. He brings his beautiful, humbling energy each month & transcends us all with his musical talents. It's an absolute blessing having Eddy a part of this forever growing journey. Vulnerability is something that doesn't come easy. We are taught to "toughen up" & "soldier on" as if vulnerability is some kind of weakness. The truth is, it takes courage to be vulnerable, it takes strength. To sit with & own your feelings, to express even if you may not understand the emotion nor the outcome. That's where the true soldiers stand. And those who are true will stand alongside you. So be strong, feel the feels & reap the benefits. This human experience is something we all deserve to thrive within.

21.01.2022 How do you feel when you wake up? Do you wait & see how you feel & then decide whether it's going to be a good or bad day? No matter how you feel when you wake, you have the power to change it.... There is a sense of relief around this. I feel it everyday. A deep sense of gratitude; the knowing that I hold the key to my thoughts and feelings. If I wake up feeling off, on edge, anxious even, I now know that I have the power to change that. How do we switch up our thoughts & feelings? Through meditation. When we meditate we unite with our true nature, our knower. This knower is prior to thinking. This is our infinite space of self empowerment. Sitting in meditation for even just a few minutes helps us re-calibrate & stabilise the mind. From here we think & act from a clearer perspective. The mental chit-chat quietens, we feel more aligned. The more we meditate, the more we continue our journey home to ourselves. This feeling of "coming home" is beautiful & it's something we all deserve to feel. Drop a if you like the sound of that



20.01.2022 The art of letting go... I realised a little while ago that I have been controlling SO much within my life to the point where my focus had become narrow, the outcomes were limited due to me trying to control everything. For whatever reason I believed that to get good things in life I had to hustle very hard, all the time.... THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Yes you work hard to get where you want to be, that is a no brainer. But this "work" doesn't have to mean that you're hustling every hour of every day. Something I keep being reminded of is that once you start working towards the things that light you up, the universe truly works with you. Starting my business was at first really daunting. I worried that I wasn't doing enough, wasn't posting enough, wasn't engaging enough, wasn't experienced enough.. I have pulled back the reigns ALOT. I realised that I am always doing the work, in one way or another. For me that means Taking time out to just be. Ensuring MY daily practice is up to scratch & I am walking my talk. Investing in my mental health & overall wellbeing. Eating well & staying active. Having time-out to re-energise & recharge. Taking time to play! Switching up my focus. Switching off altogether. Reading, writing, listening to podcasts. Putting my needs first - one of the hardest ongoing challenge thus far. This all counts as work. All the stuff in-between the hustle helps shape us to become the best versions of ourselves. It is important to know that you are enough. You are doing enough. And sometimes letting go is the most powerful thing you can do.. Letting go may just be the thing that propels you forward. There is so much magic in trusting in the process. Trust that all is unfolding perfectly & give yourself a break. The universe is working for you always & in all ways Happy Monday beautiful souls x

20.01.2022 Healing. I was raised a very strong woman by my amazing Mother, Father & 2 brothers. We were all raised to be incredibly independent & resilient. Our strength didn't come naturally.... It came from experiencing & working through deep wounds & difficult times, alone & as a family. Like all families, we have been through some shit. And we will continue to. There is absolutely no guarantee what will happen to us throughout this life. We cannot control most things. Our healing is something we can control. Healing is scary & man it fucking hurts. Alot. But do you know what hurts more? Staying in the sadness, in the pain, living in it for the rest of our lives. Growing old with regret in our hearts, with anger & sadness ruling us, dis-ease & illness manifesting as a result. That's what hurts more. Healing is fucking hard. And the first step is the hardest. What is the guarantee though, when you are dedicated to healing? Something beautiful, more than you could have ever imagine lies on the other side. That is guaranteed. It starts with us. It is up to us to decide if we want to sit in sadness & our pain or whether we want to move forward, to grow through & free ourselves. To do life our way, to create the life we desire, the life we deserve. You are not your wounds, you are not your past, you are not the things you have done & they do not define you. Letting go of this alone frees us. Frees us of burdens & of the metaphorical shackles we chain to our own feet. In letting go, we step into the beautiful unknown. This is where the magic lies. 19.01.2022 Pranayam. You may have seen the word Pran or Pranayam(a) somewhere along your journey. Pran is Sanskrit for life force.... Ayam is Sanskrit for regulate or elongate. Pranayam is gentle regulation of the life force or, gentle extension of the breath. Through Pranayam & Meditation you are able to strengthen, build & store Pran, your life force. Next time you meditate, watch where the Pran is coming from, become the observer of the source. Becoming the observer leads your consciousness into a meditative state. Each meditation session I run will begin with a Pranayam technique followed by a guided meditation. In my teachings I want to appeal to everyone, whether you have meditated before, you're just starting out or perhaps you've never meditated at all. Wherever you are in your journey is completely fine. I am here to simplify this technique for you. Why? Because you deserve to live in a peaceful, blissful state. Classes commence 27th July! 18.01.2022 Finding your "happy place" wherever you are. Isn't it great when things just go your way? The traffic flows, all your favourite songs are on the radio, someone let's you skip ahead at the checkout.. you think to yourself "this is going to be a good day"..... Then there are days when you wake up a little late, rush to get ready, stub your toe, forget your wallet, get stuck in traffic.. does this sound like the start of a "bad day?".. It's very easy for us to rely on external environments to generate "good" or "bad" feelings. How do you feel if something doesn't go to plan? Do you think you're able to adapt to your environments no matter what gets thrown your way? Do you blame a certain something or someone for causing emotions to arise within you when something doesn't go as planned? Don't feel bad if you do because it is all very common. We can never control what goes on around us, there is no way to predict any of it. Life is constantly flowing & changing & we as humans tend to go against the current rather than with it. We may get upset because we imagined things would go differently & quite quickly we can experience a snow-ball effect of things "going wrong". What can we do to maintain our "happy place" regardless of the external environment? We strengthen our inner-environment! This inner-environment is something we have the power to harness & I want to help you do exactly that so all the crap on the outside doesn't affect you as much. Meditation has helped me build my inner sanctuary & my goal is to help you build yours. I won't ever claim to be an expert on the moon phases though I do know that I am affected mentally, physically & emotionally so I ensure I do my best in preparing myself for whatever unfolds. Some of the ways I prepare during moon phases ... I research different phases & follow certain pages - AstroTash is an amazing source as are the local Perth beauties Spirit Soul Sistas - Bri & Dani provide a full moon report every month which goes into great detail about what you can expect during each phase plus a mini yoga clip with the incredible Claire Hargreaves Write & reflect - I write down things I wish to let go of, things that no longer serve me. I thank these things for their teachings & release them with love & light. I consume healthy goods. The more earthy food we consume, the more connected we are to everything around us. I make minimal plans. Put your needs first. Taking care of yourself first & foremost allows you to be the best version of yourself, for you & for those that surround you. I love to indulge in some of the many Full Moon events Perth has to offer, so much so that I created my own! The first edition was so beautiful so we are doing it again.. 16.01.2022 It's amazing seeing new faces in class & I'm loving that more men are attending. Meditation does not discriminate! We all deserve to feel peaceful Meditation helps with exactly that. Sitting in stillness allows us to go within, to detach from external stimulus & recalibrate our minds. ... How does this help? When we are acting from a clear mind, we are more productive, we are more focused, we get shit done in every aspect in life. Life literally gets better! I dont want to toot my own horn but I'm living proof I've moved through (and continue to move through) anxiety, I constantly bring myself back when caught up in an over-thinking spiral, I'm no longer victim to my external world, I'm now the observer of my mind (with consistent work), I dont attach to the things I've done, the "mistakes" I've made or the not so great decisions that once ruled my mind/life. With meditation we are able to create new everyday. We become better versions of ourselves. New & improved. Seems simple eh? And it is. We just overcomplicate it (like most things). 11.01.2022 Taking care of no 1. Today I am taking time for me before I fly back to site for 2 weeks. I am consistent in my preparation for things to come whether its at work or in everyday life.... I take the steps I need to take to best prepare myself mentally, physically, emotionally & energetically. Today that has included Rest Loving company Kinesiology balance Solo time Meditation Colouring in I know I feel a hell of a lot better when I'm prepared & when I'm rested. Taking care of no.1 is a selfless act, not a selfish one Meditation helps me re-centre & unite with my true nature, prior to thinking. This practice has truly become my place of peace. 10.01.2022 My face when a mentor tells me to do absolutely nothing.. Do nothing. Don't try to achieve anything. Don't try to be anywhere other than where you are right now.... Just be. This was super challenging for me as I realised I am always working towards something; always hustling one way or another. I found this task of "being" alot more challenging than I expected. The beautiful Tash Kelly suggested I ask the universe to show me the magic in doing nothing, in just "being" in the moment and boy did she deliver! I stuck to my daily meditation practice & then I allowed myself to play. I made zero plans, I have been taking the days as they come & really going with the flow. I've been for walks in a new neighbourhood, tried new coffee shops, took some photographs, drank some wine, I even painted It was so nice to just be, to play a little, to realise that life doesn't have to be go, go, go. As a result, I am more motivated, I achieved just as much without trying to.. the inward process was the difference. Are you allowing for magic in your days? Task yourself this week! 09.01.2022 Full Yogic Breath. Otherwise known as 3 Part Breath or Complete Breath. This Pranayam technique is the foundation breath that we will use in my classes.... A very simple yet powerful technique with a plethora of benefits.. Here are just a few Calms the nervous system Quietens the mind Reduces stress Reduces anxiety Increases lung capacity Increases self-awareness Try this out at home & let me know how you go! 30 min Meditation classes commence Monday morning 6:15am in Scarborough (in-between the Surf Life Saving Club & the pool). 07.01.2022 Step Breath / Kadam Shwas. One of my favourite Pranayam practices Breathing in & out of your nose.... Exhale fully, take a small breath, hold, take another small breath, hold & continue like this in incriments. Imagine each in-breath is a step on a ladder & you are ascending with each breath. When you reach the top, hold for a second then begin descending the ladder using the same technique - exhale out a little, hold, exhale again, hold & so forth.. Ensure you are not struggling or straining your breath. Your breath should be slow & controlled. I like to do this for around 10 cycles to ensure complete relaxation though it is up to you. Sometimes I do this practice with my eyes open, sometimes I close my eyes. Again, it is completely up to you. Find the practice that works for you This is a beautiful technique that promises to calm the nervous system, strengthen the breath & bring you into the present moment. Give it a go.. I'd love your feedback

06.01.2022 Self-care. Where do you start? Wherever it feels right for you. Notice what works for you, notice what doesn't.... ~ It is important not to compare or compete. You are never ahead nor behind anyone ~ Your journey is exactly that, yours. The timing & path in which your journey unfolds is unique to you. Can you spare a few minutes in the morning to start your day a little differently? If not, can you spare a few minutes before you go to bed each night? If not, can you spare a few minutes whilst you're sitting on the loo during the day.. not even kidding. Be mindful of any spare time you find in your day & consider utilising that time to honour yourself with some self-care. Whether it's 2 minutes or 10 - every minute counts! Task yourself this week - put aside 5 minutes each day, set a timer on your phone, be consistent with this & I promise you will notice a shift. 06.01.2022 FIFO LIFO. I get stressed out. I am pushed to my limits. I feel challenged in every way possible. On the flipside, I live a beautifully balanced life. I continue to learn so much about myself. I've learnt valuable lessons that no other environment could have taught me.... Most of all, I've met some of the most special people in my life who I probably wouldn't have crossed paths with if it weren't for mining The good outweighs the "bad" & I am grateful for every bit. I find peace here. I often lose it too. I'm constantly being tested but one thing is for sure, I always come out stronger & wiser than before. Meditation continues to be my light in what can often be a dark & toxic environment. With consistent practice I continue to expand & grow. The challenges expand with me & the way I look at it, we are only ever dealt situations that we are capable of overcoming so I say bring it on... The greater the challenge, the greater the growth

06.01.2022 The face of a fulfilled woman Last night I ran the second edition of my full moon events & it was suuuch a special evening! I love not knowing what to expect in the flow of it all. I love seeing new faces walk through the door, I love seeing the faces I recognise too.... I love that everything just flows, from the connections with Eddy, Jayden & Dylan, to the meditation I guide, to the influx of people at the event, the energy & offerings exchanged, the magic that unfolds.. It all flows so beautifully & so naturally. I am eternally grateful for these opportunities. It feels really bloody good to provide a space for people to come, to shed layers, to expand & to continue their journeys home to themselves. This is only the beginning! The spiel in my closing meditation went a little something like this - "It is up to all of us to create, cultivate & to be love. To be the ones that light the way, to show others that love is the answer. We are all infinitely connected & now more than ever we must solidify that connection. To move forward & act from a place of love, to radiate love & be the vital starting point for that ripple effect". From my heart to yours, thank you I love you all so much x

I ran my first Rising Mind event on Monday evening & I keep pinching myself at the turnout; not just of the people but the way the night panned out.. you all blew my freakin mind! The night looked a little like this - Welcome hugs Drop in meditation Jayden acknowledged the traditional custodians of the land, the Whadjuk people We did a release & let go activity I ran a love frequency meditation Eddy took us on a shamanic journey with his handpans & singing bowls Jayden & Dylan shook our minds & bodies with their incredible didgeridoo playing Then..... We finished up with a full djemba drum, didge, shakers, singing bowl jam session & everyone was up dancing Holy shit it was phenomenol!!! Thank you all so much for joining me on my first event, we are definitely doing that again & again! Stay tuned for more dates & more information. 03.01.2022 "I can't meditate, I can't sit still" "I can't meditate, I don't have the time" "I cant meditate, my mind won't settle" Do you want to know why you can't meditate?... It's because you're telling yourself that you cant.. The language we use with ourselves will either empower us or dis-empower us; sometimes we don't even realise we are using negative self-talk. I often hear "I am an anxious person, I am forgetful, I am always late, I'm an over-thinker. Note: You are what you repeatedly tell yourself. Perhaps in the past you haven't been able to meditate because your mind has trouble settling. Change up your choice of words & see how you feel - "I have had trouble meditating in the past but I am now determined to learn". Give yourself a chance to think, feel & act differently. If we do what we've always done, we'll get what we've always gotten, right? Notice your self-talk & change it up. It starts with you!

03.01.2022 Grounding Also known as "Earthing". This is a great practice to connect with yourself & Mother Earth.... Grounding can have an awesome impact on your mood, your energy, aches/pains, your sleep and sooo much more. How do you do it? There are a few different ways you can pratice grounding. A personal fav of mine is walking barefoot on the grass, dirt, sand.. you can find me walking barefoot in & around Scarborough most days. You can lie on the ground, on the grass, perhaps under a tree. Added bonus if you can get a little Vitamin D on your skin. Go for a swim, yes I know its cold but during the cooler months it's actually warmer in the water than it is out.. The Human Excellence Project Group is an awesome crew in Perth that rallies epic humans together for early morning dips to help break past mental barriers/limiting beliefs. They also do breathwork & meditation sessions.. completely free. I'll be joining them on Wednesday morning at Hillary's Jetty for anyone that would like to join me! So kick off your shoes, go for a stroll or a swim & get connected with mother earth & with yourself. ALL of the healing properties we seek are provided to us naturally from the earth.
