25.01.2022 Hi everyone. It's with great reluctance, that I have decided to part with my TA23. It has taken me a lot longer to find long term employment than I'd thought, ...and I can't afford to keep and maintain both of my vehicles. 1976 TA23 Coupe, Green. Little rust. Body in very good condition. 220K. 5sp gearbox. Upholstery in VGC. I'm not looking to make a profit out of it, as this ownership was one of pure enjoyment. Not $$$. Runs well. Registered to 02/21. Paid $20K. Selling for $20K. Genuine interest, please PM me.

25.01.2022 DECAL NEWS Shortly to be available is the engine decal set for the Corolla 3K-B engines (twin carbies). These were originally fitted to the KE11-S; KE17-S; KE20-S; KE25-S; and KE35-KSB. Another likely decal is the green 4K-C air cleaner decal. Watch this space!

25.01.2022 A big thank you to everybody who contributed towards the huge success of the All Japanese Day on Sunday. I think we set a new benchmark for 'show & shines'. I'm sure the neighbours appreciated the better behaved departures due to the unique QPS muffler system in place. Pencil in late February (a bit cooler then) for your next chance to attend the All Japanese Classic Day. Smaller "Coffee & Cars" meets are also regularly held at Kitchen8, Crockford Street, Northgate. The next is actually this coming Sunday the 5th of December. Ring Marek on 0418-410443 for details.

25.01.2022 GATHER ROUND SUNNIES FLOCK! The great news is that our third issue of grille badges has been paid for and is currently in production. They should be delivered to me in about three weeks. As I asked in the recent magnificent newsletter, which nobody has done, can those who have paid kindly contact me and confirm the mailing address. These things are expensive to buy and post, and I do not want any to go astray. They will be posted with tracking so I wont be sending you anothe...r one if it goes missing. Also, if you would like one but cant quite manage the outlay yet, then give me a ring and we can work something out. Cheers for now, Allan Toyota

22.01.2022 Great day with awesome people...

21.01.2022 Alright Scallywags.... 1 week to go so some basic info/rules/protocol that must be followed in order for us to adhere to the current state of the world. Failure... to do so could see us gain unwanted attention and risk future events being held here which I would love to be able host regularly. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated. 1. We are located in a residential area that house most of our regular customers. Please be mindful and respectful of that. This means not just at the centre but cruising through the hood on arrival and departure. 2. We are a fully licensed venue. ALL alcohol MUST be consumed within the confides of our pirate ship and not outside of this space. 3. All those who are fortunate to dine-in within our store must fill out the attendance register for government records (Covid19 Rules). We have seating for around 35 inside an out but you can make use of the centre to eat. There is a large grass area out the front so bring a picnic blanket and or fold up chair of your own. 4. If at any stage (and i doubt it will) we exceed 500 people we will have to shut it down as an event of this size requires a further permit. 5. Please adhere to social distancing rules. While restrictions have eased the 1.5mt thing aint changed. If you are feeling unwell then please do not attend. 6. Have a cracking day and drive safely from wherever it is youre sailing/cruising from! Aside from this as a good will gesture The Captain will be offering the lunch special to attendees which is usually only available Mon-Fryday. This is a serve of Fish n Chips or Calamari n Chips for the bargain price of of $10. There will also be a limited run of Mazda License plates available till sold out for a measly $20 each, CASH only for these please. Hopefully i havent missed anything but if i have ill post in the coming week. Get excited as we sure are!!!

20.01.2022 A few pics from todays Jolly Roger meet up!

20.01.2022 Greetings Sunners! The long awaited newsletter will be posted on Monday the 22nd of June! Recurring computer troubles over the past few months have made life very difficult. An early heads-up on the club grille badges though it will be in the newsletter anyway: Production will be taking place in July and will be either 15 or 25 units (75 have been made in the past!), depending on what I can afford to finance at the time. The new price is $45 each or $50 posted anywhere. Fo...r those who have already paid, no further payment is required. Just send me your mailing address to make sure it is correct, and also to make sure I have you on the PAID list. Any left over will be available at the All Japanese Day on the 29th of November. The badges are red, white, & black on a 88mm diameter base and are made by Astor Base Metals who have been manufacturing car badges for every Australian car assembler or manufacturer for many decades. See you in November, if not before!

14.01.2022 SUNDAY FUN-DAY! Bloke spends a night with a female jockey and they both have a great time. She has to leave early in the morning as she is riding in races 2, 4, & 6. She says "Come down to the track and Ill tell you which one to back in my race. Ill have to give you a cryptic clue". So he waits beside the mounting yard and she comes out for Race 2 rubbing her breasts. He looks at the form guide and sees Two Abreast and backs it. It romps home! Out she comes for Race 4 and... she is rubbing her eyes. He looks at the form guide and sees Eyeliner and backs it. It romps home! Out she comes for Race 6 and she stands in the stirrups and rubs her fanny. The bloke doesnt have a bet. Later in the bar they link up and he thanks her for the two well-paying tips. She said "What about Race 6, Itchy Mickey?" He said "Oh fuck, I thought you were saying the cunt was scratched!". See more

13.01.2022 GREETINGS AGAIN SUNNERS! The grille badges have arrived at Maison De La Mosquito! They will be in the mail this week or, by prior notification, you can collect one from the Japanese Cars & Coffee meet at Northgate this Sunday. They are the usual superb quality and come with all screws etc. The mounting studs arent very long so you may have to make up a custom joiner to go between the two, depending on how your grille is configured. The first photo shows the correct way to mount it but I might add an arrow on the back indicating "UP" to be on the safeside. Diameter is 8.5cms or 3.5" if you want to start planning where to put it. Threaded mounting studs are 55mm apart. Enjoy!

13.01.2022 Few happy snaps from this morning. Enjoy

08.01.2022 GREETINGS PEOPLES! As you would have expected, the hugely popular All Japanese Day scheduled for the 14th of June is unlikely to go ahead due to the virus thingy. The pencilled-in new date is Sunday the 29th of November so mark your calendars. This will give you time to go on a two week cruise. You should get off by November. Ill be posting out a Newsletter to all members next week to cover a range of subjects since not all members are on the internet or email.

07.01.2022 **EDIT** Thank you for your responses, we now have wheels and axle! Help! Sad story.... I lost all my spare wheels and spare rear axle in the NYE bushfires. Thankfully my beloved car was saved. Does anyone have a spare rim or 2 (13 inch) or an axle that they are willing to sell?

06.01.2022 Hi All I’d like to start with what an amazing attendance by all, it exceed our expectations. I’m truely sorry that some had to miss out by being locked out bu...t as you would have seen and heard we were visited by the local police and our covid safe plan and processes scrutinised in great depth. Thus we had to shut the gates at one point to keep within the rules that were set out for us. In saying that everyone that did come in one way or another well done on doing the right thing. I’d like to thank the car community in understanding our position in this current circumstances as we did our best to facilitate the event for everyone to enjoy. I’d like to say thank you to the local community for putting up with the short term traffic jams caused by trying to get everyone into the grounds following the covid sign in rules. I’m happy to let you all know that with yesterday’s attendance we as the All Japanese Day car show have made donations to following recipients, Earnshaw State College, Endeavour Foundation and the Rural Fire brigade. We are planning to keep hosting the events in the near future but hopefully with no restrictions fingers crossed. Once again thank you all that attended and made the show what it is. Thank you to the people that stepped up to help out with the running of the show a top effort. Cheers Marek

05.01.2022 Hi all we have decided to cancel our All Japanese Classic Day on the 28th February due to the exorbitant conditions set by our local government.
