16.01.2022 Our hearts go out to all the men's netball athletes around Australia who have been preparing and training for two years without a national championships. We will continue to work hard on this doco over the coming months to showcase men's netball on a world stage so we can continue to celebrate the amazing male players who embrace the sport. Once the documentary is released, we hope to see a groundswell of support so that there is more funding for men's netball going forwards.... Quote: "Other major sporting bodies running pathway championships found themselves in the same boat and reached the same decision as us. Put simply, there were really no alternate advice to any of us to forge ahead in different formats, so the decision was made for us. Pro-leagues such as AFL, NRL and Suncorp have access to financial resources and contingencies that our pathway tournaments simply don’t. Some have chartered flights, special exemptions and fully funded hub environments to plan with. Without these resources a tournament was not possible, said AMMNA president Andrew Simons. http://www.ammna.com.au//06/30/2021-championships-cancel/

07.01.2022 The example is being set in New Zealand around the visibility and recognition of elite men’s netball. At the other end of the sport in Australia and around the world, we’d also love to see the recognition and support for boys at the local level be able to play the sport they love
