18.01.2022 It's been a very quiet few months...a lot of date jigging to try and deal between the various inevitable postponements and new bookings and I am happy to say it has largely worked out...still a few to go but fingers crossed. I am excited to have two weddings coming up, my first since lockdown began and I can't wait! As you can see in the photo, I am looking to the future and I think I can see a light flickering in the distance...

04.01.2022 Hi everyone, Like us all, the current situation has had a significant impact on the many couples who have been planning their wedding for some considerable time. Obviously the landscape has changed, maybe irrevocably. All the couples I am dealing with have opted to postpone their reception but some have decided to continue with their plan to marry, despite the rules around assembly. The rule is you can get married but with only five people present the couple, two witnesses ...and celebrant however, it is absolutely possible. I have also been approached by couples who are quite happy to go ahead with their legal marriage ceremony at this time and defer the reception/party to a more suitable time or not! In fact, more than one couple were quietly relieved to have the financial aspect of a reception removed from the equation. As one said, ‘now we can get on with buying our house’! Anyway, whatever the motivation, I am still very happy to perform ceremonies either in my home or yours. Needless to say, all the various advice and stipulations will be upheld to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being.
