24.01.2022 Lydiah was over the moon when she passed her driving test on her first attempt. She was the second of our students to get her manual drivers licence today. Now she can enjoy the freedom this brings. She can also drive mum around instead of mum driving her. Lol It was a great effort from you. 24.01.2022 After doing most of his hours in his parents' automatic vehicles and then deciding to go all out and go for his test in a manual, it was so rewarding to see Connor Gray develop the required skills after only a few short lessons. This was a mammoth effort as she has done it all on her own, with no help from family or friends to provide her with a vehicle for practice. On her own, she managed to get a logbook exemption for hours, due to her situation, but she really applied herself and absolutely nailed it in her test. Well done to you young lady. After the disappointment of missing out on his first test date because his logbook hadn't been approved, we managed to find him a cancellation booking before he headed off to sea again. Not only did he overcome this, but he took all advice and instruction on board and passed his test with a clean sheet. Not even one minor error!... Well done mate. 15.01.2022 Rite Road Driver Training will be restarting lessons from Monday 11 May 2020. I have been monitoring the Covid19 situation closely and there have been no new cases reported in the Wide Bay area for several weeks now. Each student will be required to sign a declaration regarding Covid19 contacts, and hand sanitise upon commencing the lesson. The vehicles will have contact surfaces sanitised between lessons. Please be aware that in order to catch up on the backlog, some studen...ts may have to obtain permission to leave school during the day to be able to achieve this. Before and after school vacancies will be limited until we catch up. I look forward to continuing to provide our excellent service where we achieved a 100% success rate on first attempts at the driving tests. It has been a difficult time, and we appreciate those who have stayed the distance. From now on there'll be no more pleading with mum to drive with her to the shops for 'emergency' supplies.... Such as chicken.... 04.01.2022 Just a quick note to let everyone know that QLD TMR have finally re-opened online bookings for tests. So please, if you're ready for you're test, and you have your hours approved, let us book the test for you rather than book it yourself. That way, you won't be disappointed if you book a test and we don't have a car available due to prior bookings. It won't cost you any more.
