25.01.2022 Some MIFGS garden displays is that they look as though theyve been there forever when in fact they are created for the few days that show is open in a Melbourne city park. The style of this garden is supported by every element in it The cut stone table, painted trunk stools + sculpture and fabulous plantings make this one a winner.

21.01.2022 I noticed this in a small courtyard- that by adding a structural beam at the building stage, you can easily add an overhead weatherproof shade system beyond the living room. That really increases the indoor-outdoor living space. Of course, the back wall is perfect for your outdoor mirrors. :-) Snapped a pic to show that.

13.01.2022 The International Flower + Garden show in Melbourne was supposed to be on over this weekend. We planned to head down as it was the 25th with many of Australia's top landscape designers set to showcase their immense talents. I adore the show and always come away feeling inspired. Really hope all the top guns will there next year. This week I'll share a few photos of the amazing pop up gardens they create for the few days the show is on. Gardens are the perfect tonic for days at home. xS

01.01.2022 Creating spectacular gardens of this calibre for the MIFGS is no mean feat. I loved what Charlie Alabone of Inspired Exteriors achieved in the lawn plot he was allocated for 2 weeks. The copper finished water troughs were a stroke of genius. Complete with led rim lighting the reflections that danced day and night on the still water were mesmerizing. The kind of garden space that orders us to relax a while. I did indeed return to gaze at it often through out the show.
