The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 12:20 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near the area between Boonah and Beaudesert, Hampton, Mount Barney and Murphy's Creek. These thunderstorms are moving towards the southeast. They are forecast to affect Beaudesert, Laidley and Gatton by 12:50 pm and Peak Crossing, Amberley and Rosewood by 1:20 pm.
