The Victorian government have finally announced an ease travel restrictions just in time for the Queen’s birthday long weekend and we are so pleased to be able to welcome you back to River Bend Caravan Park as of June 1. Victorian DHHS has announced that restrictions on travel within Victoria will be eased further, and from 11:59pm on May 3. ... - You will be able to stay in a holiday home or private residence; - You will be also able to stay in tourist accommodation, including caravan parks and camping grounds, where there are no shared communal facilities; and - Tourist accommodation can open to guests provided there are no shared communal facilities such as kitchens or bathrooms. 17.01.2022 At River Bend we have always had and maintained rigorous cleaning procedures and schedules. But we want to reassure you that we are following all government advice on cleaning and disinfecting at River Bend Caravan Park. To help to keep the park at low risk, Victorian Parks Association has provided us with a declaration form which needs to be filled out by every guest upon entry to the park. We want you to be as safe as possible while visiting so it's important that we continue to all maintain physical distancing of 1.5 metres while at River Bend Caravan Park

16.01.2022 Todays announcement 28.05.2020: VicParks has now received advice from government Toilets only (not showers) can open 1 June DHHS has advised VicParks today that communal toilet facilities can open to all guests from Monday 1st June. They have not allowed showers, laundries or kitchens to open for tourists or Annuals. We may open communal toilets but not communal showers even where those showers are co-located with your toilets. We can also now confirm that DHHS has approved, from Monday 1 June, the use of playgrounds and swimming pools up to a maximum of 20 people each at any one time. Strict distancing rules apply.

As per the restrictions stated in the last post we are still not able to open our communal facilities including the amenities blocks, camp kitchen, recreation room, laundry facilities, playground, pool and shared spaces. 02.01.2022 Another project we've been working on! Powercor workers have been working to replace the main power supply crossmember that holds the powerlines that supply the park. It is part of their ongoing maintenance program, keeping overhead power lines safe. No rest for us here, working hard to have everything perfect for when we are able to open up again
