23.01.2022 All of our students have settled in really well at their new school and we are very proud of all of them. Our preps have had a very busy 2 days and will now have a well deserved rest (reminder that preps don't attend school on Wednesdays in February). We'd love you to ask your children what they love best about Riverbend Primary School and post their responses in the comments below.

18.01.2022 Following the governments announcement last night, all visitors to the school are required to wear masks when inside any buildings including the office. Please make sure that when in the yard before or after school you social distance or wear your mask. Thank you to everyone for your understanding. Stay safe.

13.01.2022 Tim Pallas joined us this morning to officially open Riverbend PS. We started with a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by a school tour and finishing with an assembly in the gym. The students all did an amazing job. We will have lots of photos to share when we receive them from the photographer, however here is a video of our students.

06.01.2022 Today was national read aloud day. Our grade 3/4s enjoyed reading aloud to their reading partners in the classroom library.

02.01.2022 Tomorrow morning Tim Pallas MP will be coming to officially open our school. As a part of this visit we will also be having our first whole school assembly. Unfortunately we are expecting a lot of rain tomorrow so we will have to do this inside. This means given current Covid restrictions we won't be able to invite families along to this event. We will make sure that we take lots of photos and post them on our Facebook page.
