22.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of the 2021 Riverboats Music Festival. Whilst we had hoped that the Covid storm may have passed in time for us to plan for next February, sadly this just isn't the case. With the current level of restrictions in place across Victoria, the ongoing border closures and in the absence of a clear Government roadmap for outdoor festivals, we find ourselves unable to move forward with any confidence. Live music was one of t...he first industries to close and may end up being one of the last to reopen, and the impact of this pandemic on our artists, musicians, production crew and suppliers has been truly devastating. Rest assured, Riverboats will return. For now though, our 10th anniversary is on hold until February 18-20 2022, when we hope to see you all under those beautiful red gums for a catchup long overdue. Take care everyone and we'll see you on the other side x

Since then we have been absolutely overwhelmed by the number of people who have tuned in for performances by some incredible Riverboats artists, each playing live from the isolated comfort of their own homes. Each performance is accompanied by a link which provides our community with the opportunity to ...make an entirely optional contribution to each artist, with 100% of all funds received paid directly to the artist. 01.01.2022 A huge congratulations to the remarkable Archie Roach for his induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame last night, as well as for winning Best Male Artist and Best Adult Contemporary Album. Under a blazing sun Archie held us spellbound at Riverboats this year, and it was an incredible honour to listen to his songs and stories. Congratulations Archie, you're a national treasure.
