25.01.2022 A socially distanced sports carnival today meant our little man ran his own race! So proud!

25.01.2022 When I first laid eyes on you just under 31 years ago, you were at church. You were wearing a white crimp jumpsuit. Your hair was long and pulled up at the sides. Everything was in slow motion for me. It was as if the most beautiful angel was floating towards me. I said to myself, Im going to marry that girl one day! I found these photos of us when we were kids we had no idea that the other person existed. They were taken approximately at the same time/year. If you had ...told me that I, this red haired, freckled faced, bowl haircut, straight fringed little boy would marry this absolutely stunning, long haired (ballet dancer) olive skinned, fit body, straight A student, I would have told you to shut the front door and there was more chance of me seeing pigs fly. You were way out of my league. Now Ive been waking up to you and holding your hand for over half your life time and Ive always known that I am the lucky one! On our very first date up past Hinze Dam you asked me what I wanted to do with my life, I said without hesitation get married, buy a house and have children. Well, the look on your face was priceless, not in a good way. I thought it was all over, first and last date! Good one Craig! You have shown me that there is so, so much more to this life than what I could have ever imagined, such as: Travelling the world; Never stop anyone from going after their dreams; Having a relationship with Jesus; Live today likes theres no tomorrow, life is too short; To take chances that you never imagined you would (embracing your crazy); and Sometimes all you need is a good laugh. All of these things are non-materialistic. We have had lots of these moments just recently. We have stopped putting things off and have just done it! Life is too short to miss out on dreams, like going on a holiday of a lifetime, experiencing our 25th anniversary trip to Italy phew we were so lucky it wasnt this year!. You are inspirational and ambitious. You are a woman of integrity with a beautiful heart. You are a generous, awesome friend, an amazing thoughtful, wise and perfectionistic daughter and sister. You are a patient, kind caring and loving mother to Zigi and Teja. Most importantly, you are a supportive, understanding, willing to compromise, gorgeous, beautiful loving wife to me. I think we all know that life doesnt always turn out exactly as you plan it (get married, buy a house, start a family), sometimes it turns out so, so much better! You are my everything. I love loving you. Happy 37 + 13 Birthday! Fifty finally!!

25.01.2022 Last night Teja received 2 Year 7 academic awards - TOP student in Maths and academic achievement in Chinese! Going to Saint James College has been the best choice for her! She is happy, has great friends and is doing so well that she surprised herself (and us) with these awards! We are so proud of her!

22.01.2022 For Tejas Birthday this year she had a Mad hatters tea party. I watched this for the first time with Teja (Alice in wonderland). She virtually knew the whole movie word for word and every song. Her memory is incredible. Teja chose to be the Mad Hatter but there is nothing mad about my daughter in the slightest. She is kind, caring generous, always thinking about everybody else. She is so creative with an amazing imagination. Probably why she relates to Alice in wonderland ...so much. She has put hours and hours of preparation for this party.(Totally her choice). Putting her personal creative touch into everything from her hat to all of the food (cakes). Making Zigis bunny costume. Making flowers come to life by putting eyes on them . The piece de resistance being the crocqet sticks which she painted flamingos on. Which will become family heirlooms. She puts so much pride into everything she creates. You have owned this party girlfriend. Shes also owning who she is as person. Being proud of who she is. Being comfortable in her own skin. She loves her school. Her grades have improved out of sight. She comes home from school singing and dancing. I think largely because of her beautiful friends. She is owning who she is as a special friend to so many. A friend of Tejas is a friend for life. We are so proud of you my Darling. You are growing into a beautiful kidadult ,Tejas words (young lady). I think lm still a kidadult, never looked at myself as quite getting to adulthood. Happy birthday my beautiful teenager. You are owning it. I love loving you.

21.01.2022 How jaw dropping was the sunset tonight? From where I stood with my son Zigi after our Frew Park session in the FREEZING cold - it looked like the trees were on fire!

21.01.2022 The best thing about birthdays is being woken up by my family singing, bringing me breakfast, handing me quirky cards (there is at least one dedicated to farts) and bearing gifts! So blessed to be marking another year off surrounded by those I love! Happy birthday to me! Giddy up!

Visiting my favourite coffee family Merlo Coffee Paddington, sharing a spectacular SIT DOWN meal for lunch at Sassafras of Paddington (thanks to Chris who kept the place open just for me!). I got spoiled with a massage at the one and only Royal Paradise Thai Massage-Milton, Brisbane and am about to share a dinner with mum and dad - socially distanced of course! Some days life is just so good! Giddy up!

12.01.2022 To Zigi. What an awesome year you're having my darling. With everything that has happened this year (covid) you have amazed us all with how you've grown in every facet of your life. Everything was against you and you have proven us all wrong. From walking into school by yourself and all the changes, you have thrived. Your speech and sentences have got bigger and better. You love doing your numbers and letters especially for homework. Your teachers say what a pleasure you are... to teach and how well behaved you've been. You're becoming a 5 star superstar. You've also grown in other areas of your life. You've had the longest hair you've ever had, One Directions eat your heart out. You're dancing and performing with more meaning and such personality. And you're getting so much taller (and heavier). You have grown in your relationships with your beautiful friends (especially Alex), who you love very much. You are so generous and kind. And your laughter with your friends is infectious. Your favourite food is chips. When you're not supposed to be doing something or you're hiding something behind your back and we ask "what are you doing Zigi?" you respond with a firm "NOTHING". Sometimes you get stuck on one thing and you won't let it go or move on. You drive us a bit bananas. Oh did I say you love chips, you love chippies. You have beautiful manners and sometimes answer with a delightful "yes please". You're very affectionate and full of enthusiasm. You love organising everyone especially your big sister (Teja). You know exactly what you want. You're so, so clever. We are so proud of you my darling, in all that you do you just keep amazing us all the time. We love loving you. I just wanted to let you know that - as a one man band I am still working to provide you with the rubbish removal services you might need - delivered with a smile and a wave (instead of a handshake)! I can offer a completely contact-less service. Because, if you can point me to the rubbish, you can also take a photo of it right? So if you text me a picture of your... rubbish and let me know where it is I can give you a quote over the phone or when I sight the job. And then... council announce a 2 year ban. As a small Brisbane based, family owned business, I cant offer free rubbish collection, but what I can do is offer you a discount if you have BCC vouchers but you dont have your own trailer to get your rubbish to the dump! My biz is: ... low cost (cheaper than a skip and cheaper than others) local (I am Brisbane local, not a huge franchise) clean & green (I recycle, donate and only THEN dump) caring and kind (I support local charities like Substation33) I offer same day or set time service - so you arent left waiting around in a 2 hour window for someone to arrive! Celebrating 25 amazing years of marriage with my beautiful wife in Italy. Zinta having an awesome year with work and awards coming out her ears (I definitely married up in the world). To Teja and Zigi having there best year ever. Teja graduating from primary school with her best marks ever and winning the ...arts prize (Shes so clever & kind with a beautiful heart). Zigi coming along with leaps and bounds in everything he does. Loving the world with his hugs. So proud. I love loving you 3. 20 years ago (in 1999) Zinta and were on Fraser island with a bunch of our friends dressed up as Midsummer nights dream characters, waiting for the world to self implode.
