Richard Bells Embassy project has travelled the world si...nce it was first mounted in Melbourne in 2013, and now Brisbane residents will have the rare opportunity to experience this thought-provoking installation that pays homage to the Aboriginal Tent Embassy. The original Aboriginal Tent Embassy was first assembled in 1972 by activists on the lawn of Parliament House, its the worlds longest-running protest occupation. A Special Notice for Parents & Caregivers - Updated Information regard...ing Novel coronavirus 2019-nCov Dear Parents and Caregivers, This evening I have received new advice from the Qld Government which states: - anyone who has been in contact with any confirmed novel Coronavirus cases must self-isolate (self-isolation means staying at home and not accepting visitors) for 14 days following exposure; - travellers who have visited Hubei Province of China need to self-isolate for 14 days after leaving Hubei Province; - returned travellers who have visited China cannot attend school, childcare or TAFE for 14 days after leaving China including Hong Kong. As a result I ask that all students who have journeyed to China in the last 14 days not attend school until the mandatory exclusion period of 14 days has expired from the time of departure from China or Hong Kong. The safety and well being of our students is of the upmost importance and we need to follow Government advice concerning this virus. Students who we know have travelled to China have been contacted directly overnight. Staff will make arrangements for students who remain at home to continue with their studies.
