25.01.2022 Riverglen Park back on track - picked up the new wheels. I would like to say a huge huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to my valued clients who have all delayed their transport waiting for me to get this vehicle and get back on the road. It cannot thank you all enough and it means more than anyone could possibly know. Discounts all coming your way. My biggest thanks go to three people who went beyond anything I could have expected. Richard and his lovely wife Jan w...ho live in Stratford Victoria not only came up to Bairnsdale and picked up the 2 horses and the float when the Prado got sick, gave me somewhere to stay on their super lovely property, lovely pasture for the horses overnight. Friday morning Wayne joined Richard and together we loaded to 2 horses back on to the float and drove back to Canberra - and delivered the horses along the way. Richard and Wayne then turned around and drove back to Stratford. Words alone cannot say enough for my gratitude for all that they did. Never again will they pay transport costs with me. So we hit the road again on Monday - just need to get red car back from Bairnsdale when it gets fixed - very sick this time lol - at least we have a backup vehicle now. Once again thank yo so very very much to everyone for your help and understanding over the past week - it has been a tough week and you all helped make it so much better.

23.01.2022 Riverglen Park Horse Transport- it has been a while since I posted - lots of looonnggg roads - lots of lovely people now from friends and lots of super lovely ponies. Riverglen Park Horse Transport proudly celebrates 1 year of moving meeting and travelling. With many many highlights along the way - a couple of lows - we have managed to get through our first year. Many people behind the scenes have allowed me to stay out on the road - they include my husband Russell, our ...co-pilot Freya, Monica, Anne and Jocelyn for helping care for my own wonderful horses, John and Bronwen Lowe for their valued support and encouragement along the way, our very valued clients and the wonderful horses who on some trips make life very interesting indeed. We have moved babies, mums with bubs at foot and in tummies, brumbies, completely wild stallion, Clydies, little robust cheeky shetlands, cuddly geldings and mares, racehorses, showjumpers, little girls first ponies (my favourite moves) and donkeys and even a life sized statue bound for Queensland. Up hills, down dales, very confused GPS system which has thrown its hands in the air and quit in remote areas, stranded with punctured tyres, road trains, rain, wind, hail, storms, rainbows and sunshine, lost in the alpine areas, the vibrations of country gravel roads, breathing red dust on outback roads and the serenity of watching waves roll across a beach as one drives past. Our country is vast and both beautiful and scary at the same time. I say thank you to the other Transport companies out there that I have worked with for your trust, support and encouragement and look forward to a continued working relationship in the future - stay safe out there everyone We go forward into our next year with these figures to exceed - kilometres travelled 180,462.7- horses moved - 512 - all done by 2 horse float with the addition of second float in May this year. 21.01.2022 What a fortnight - from heat to rain and storms and most things in between - from Queensland, central NSW to the high country logging forests of Victoria, the ferry crossing at Wisemans Ferry and then the amazing beaches of the Bellarine Peninsula. Have seen some amazing country, met some super wonderful people and even lovely furry members of their family. Biggest highlights this week was relocating 2 lovely bay mares rescued from the slaughter yard to their new home in th...e Hunter Valley - cried as I drove away watching them so happy and content in their new lush paddock and forever home - the elderly mare being an absolute sweetheart and just loved being patted and fussed over - next highlight was the relocation of two rescue donkeys to their former owner/rescuer and watching them happily exploring their new forever home close to Nowra and also standing in a paddock out behind Bungendore at 1.30am watching a mare and her foal come off the float and happily begin eating grass as we all stood and listened to the sounds of silence and watched the amazing night sky. Thank you to the two families who have changed the lives of 4 wonderful furry children. Big big thank you to Russell for his secretarial duties keeping me sorted as to where I am supposed to be and for talking me through the long hours on the road and to Marrianne for her help when we had too many horses and not enough float space- My bed is going to feel oh so great tonight and lord help the first person to wake me prior to 10am in the morning. 21.01.2022 Busy weekend ahead for us - horses going to Nowra, Albury and Melbourne with return trip for Albury horse. Lots of lovely owners and ponies now taking advantage of our transport. We now have a camera in the float so your horse is now visible to us at all times during the trip. This helps us to ensure that if there is a problem we can attend to it immediately thus making it even safer for the horse during the trip. 20.01.2022 Had a nice slow relatively quiet day today after days of rain - busy start to the day but then journeyed up the windy Hume Highway to a beautiful property in Moss Vale to pickup lovely mare - Maude - just after lunch - super nice people and had a lovely chat about similar equestrian pursuits and experiences- calmly loaded onto float and then windy drive back down the Hume to an extremely happy and excited mum in Googong - calmly unloaded in new home - another chat with frie...ndly property owner and Maude’s new mum and early finish for the day - after days of tip toeing around in the rain etc was nice to have such a lovely day today - thank you to Glenn for having Maude all ready to travel and for his assistance in loading this big girl and big thank you to Tracey for choosing Riverglen Park Horse Transport to bring your lovely girl down to you - wishing you both the very best in your equestrian pursuits See more

19.01.2022 The past few weeks have been extremely hectic with one day running into the next - found myself checking my phone calendar to see what day/date we were up to - there have been many miles covered - many ponies moved and loads of lovely people that I have met along the way. The roads at times have been challenging to say the least and the hours long with little time for much outside of work. It is at times like these that those of us that travel constantly for work rely on ...the support of the people behind the scenes and I say a huge thank you to my husband and support staff - without you all I could not do this - winding up and down hills - long gravel roads and the endless miles of tarmac you eventually hit the wall physically and emotionally and question yourself as to why you are out here at all - then you do a delivery like today of one small black pony for a little girls first pony - the sheer joy and excitement that you see on her face and in her eyes and then you get a lovely card presented - all handmade - photo below - and the words and the scene before you make it all worthwhile- I now know why I do this job as it brings pleasure to so many people to see their horse arrive safe and sound to its new home - wishing you all the very best with Ellie Izzy - I know you two are going to have lots of fun and thank you for making my day so very very special See more

18.01.2022 Steph Anglim Lagones Robyn transported Dusty to and from Murrumbateman to Equestrian Park the weekend before last as well as the longer trek from Murrumbateman to Albury/Wodonga last weekend. Both these trips resulted in my horse Dusty arriving safely and calmly at our destination feeling prepared and ready to tackle our dressage competitions. ... Cannot fault the transport services at all! Especially when Dusty decided to be extra tricky to load on one of the trips - Robyns expertise was excellent - as it helped get Dusty on the float nice and safely.

16.01.2022 Well it has finally happened - my poor car has given up the ghost big time - currently sitting in Bairnsdale extremely wounded - am ever so grateful for super lovely clients from Stratford who not only gave me shelter for both horses and myself but even drove the float and horses - and yes helped deliver them to their new home - back to Canberra - in their words that is what friends in the horse industry do for each other. They are currently on their way back to Stratford.... Ever ever so grateful for my understanding clients for the next few days who are more than willing to wait until I get this sorted. All of you will get a discount on your transport as a thank you for your understanding. So now home at least but no tow vehicle. Will have to source something either tomorrow or Saturday. If you know of someone wanting to HIRE out a tow vehicle for the next week please let me know. We will recover from this but will take a few days to sort. Once again huge thank you to Richard and Jan and Wayne from Stratford for their extreme generosity - no payment for transport for you guys ever again.

11.01.2022 Riverglen Park Horse Transport has necessary permit for border crossing from Vic/NSW and will continue to transport with the following conditions All transport must be paid for in advance - NO cash payments. 2. Hand sanitizers and gloves will be available for both Riverglen Park staff ... and horse handlers at pickup and delivery venues. 3. NO persons are allowed to approach or enter our float unless otherwise instructed by our staff and if so instructed must use sanitiser etc. 4. ALL horses travelling with Riverglen Park Horse Transport must wear our head collars and lead ropes which are sanitized after each use. 5. Horses being collected by Riverglen Park Horse Transport must be in a yard/stable or securely tied up - head collar changed and horse placed on the float by our staff. 6. Horses being delivered by Riverglen Park Horse Transport will be placed in a stable/yard or securely tied up with a head collar placed at the tie up point at the delivery venue. 7. NO gear will be transported between Vic/NSW - we will carry gear within NSW and ACT. 8. Please observe mandatory social distancing to help keep our staff and everyone safe. We ask that clients please be patient with transport during this time as border crossings have queues that take a little time to get through so travel times may be longer than expected. We will keep our clients up to date at all times as to the progress of the transport. 11.01.2022 Hi everyone I own Riverglen Park Equestrian Services, specialising in horse transport. I have many years in the equestrian industry and am also an accredited ...EA level 1 coach. I have an extremely well maintained 2016 Toyota Prado vehicle and a very very large straight load float. Horses used to travelling in angle load floats travel very well in this float. Bays suitable for Clydesdale horses so large and roomy. Centre divider movable to give extra room if required. Large tack box available for gear and feed. Experienced with and happy to transport difficult travellers. More than happy to take all the time needed to load and unload horses safely. Do not drive at warp speed and horses arrive happy and safe. Constant checks throughout trip - camera in float and stop regularly to check horses. Mobile phone updates throughout trip to keep owners up to date on how horses are travelling. 11.01.2022 UPDATE Just a quick update - think all is fixed - jus5 love mechanical things NOT - test out with run to the coast tomorrow- ty everyone for your best wishes. IT’s BROKEN - what a way to spend Saturday night - sitting on the side of the Hume Highway with my poor car giving up the ghost on the run home tonight - after a week of long runs, permit renewal problems (finally resolved) , rearranging interstate runs and now no wheels - just got the paperwork sorted in relation to ou...r border permits so I can get back into NSW and ACT from Vic. and now this - my sincere apologies to our Victorian clients waiting for horses but all transport must go back 24 hours until we figure out what the problem is - think it is fuel related somehow as is running really rich (strong fuel smell at idle) - after 2 solid year of consistent work I suppose I cannot complain as my faithful mechanical partner has finally succumbed to an illness of some kind - huge huge thank to Scott and his lovely partner for towing the car and to James and Jasmine for rescuing the float - I can never repay you for coming out so late at night - dome consolation- at least it waited until I got back onto the Hume after dropping last Horse - keeping fingers crossed all will be sorted tomorrow See more

07.01.2022 I highly recommend robyn and her transport services!! It was so difficult for me to hand my two horses over to her for the long 12 hour trip as they are my babi...es and I worry so much! However, everything was completely fine and they arrived happy, safely and stress free! Robyn was not only a complete professional, but knowledgeable, caring, patient and communicative the entire trip. I received photographs and updates and felt her attention to detail was outstanding. 06.01.2022 I was lucky enough to have Robyn when there was a high risk fire coming our way. she kept everyone calm as she transported not only my two boys but so many more horses to epic. She didnt only take you and your horses to epic she also took them home. In a time of need you can always count on Robyn to be there. Robyn is professional, kind, caring, compassionate and always thinking about the safety and welfare of the animal that she is transporting or even if they have come for a lesson. 04.01.2022 What a lovely end to a long day - beautiful brumby gelding collected from Broughton this afternoon and delivered to Burra - he loaded quietly, stood remarkably still while tailgate lifted and door brought down and travelled like a dream - big thank you to Hope and Will for their help to load this nervous but intelligent boy - super lovely client who was over the moon to get her new fur baby safe and sound - so so wonderful to see one of our beautiful brumbies in his forever home - it is days like this that make my job so rewarding

02.01.2022 Riverglen Park Transport & Equestrian Services As I take a day off over the New Year period I reflect on the past extremely busy 10 days - over 12,500 kilometre...s travelled, 25 furry children either reunited with family or beginning new lives, many many wonderful people to talk to and a lot of wildlife along the way. At times, with the GPS even getting lost, the flies, sandstorms on the Hume Highway, I thought why am I doing this BUT then the look of pure excitement and joy on an owners face as they see their beloved fur child arrive safe and sound, the neighs of excited 4 legged children as friends get off the float, the smell of grass, home, the wide open spaces, the friendship, courtesy and understanding of owners and trainers I have met along the way and the smells and noises of the Australian bush NOW I know why I do this - happy New Year everyone - if you are on the road with transports - stay safe pictures below after my last dropoff on Sunday night taken around 7pm in the Tumbarumba area - says it all
