14.01.2022 Fin Book 2020 Did you know the resident Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins in the Swan Canning Riverpark and Mandurah have names? Each dorsal (top) fin has a unique pattern, just like our finger prints. These patterns and other markings (from predation and human impacts) help us to identify each dolphin.... You can download a copy of the Swan Canning Riverpark or Mandurah Fin book from https://www.riverguardians.com//dolph/identifying-dolphins. These fin books have pictures of the dorsal fins and associated names to help you identify these beautiful mammals. Next time you are strolling along the river and see some of the resident dolphins, look closely at the dorsal fins and see if you can identify the dolphins swimming by Parks and Wildlife Service, Western Australia Coastal & Estuarine Dolphin Project

After doing your bit for the environment and our precious rivers, kick back and enjoy a sausage sizzle and cold drink on us! ;-) If there are any kayakers out there, we'd certainly appreciate your assistance to remove fishing line and other debris from branches overhanging the water.
