Although this may seem beneficial at the time..., the longer term effect is a further decrease in function and increase in pain. Exercise and maintaining physical activity levels is SAFE and essential in the management/treatment of pain. Start gradually with something you enjoy and get moving! Pain pathology! It’s important to remember that pain does not always necessarily mean that damage is occurring. Be confident that exercise is SAFE and enjoy moving. Enjoy the long weekend! Stay safe and get active!
