25.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came into The Co-op today and complied with the current COVID-19 restrictions, knowing that the current rules are the toughest yet for us, locally. Can I especially thank the lady who was so kind and understanding before we fully understood the ‘12 years and under’ rule for kids being exempt from wearing masks. Our team did not know the exact rule, and whilst she was 100% correct, she didn’t make a fuss, she popped a couple of masks on her children a...nd they went about their shopping. Again, a massive thank you for being so kind. Sadly, at the other end of the scale was the lady who refused to wear a mask, putting our team and everyone else at risk and when asked to pop a mask on, declined twice, claiming that she was only spreading ’love’ and left, leaving her purchase on the counter. As sad as that experience was, this was an exception, not the norm. Lastly, a massive thanks to our amazing teams in Wagga & Junee, if we all work together, we will stay safe and get through another tough Covid-19 challenge. Kevin Salmon General Manager See more
