24.01.2022 Do you know what inspired me to start River & Wren? I truly, truly believe a market is like magic - filled with possibility and excitement - and I just adore ho...w a market brings people together. So incredibly proud of what we (not just me, but our beloved traders, and you - our beloved community) have built. Come along and enjoy the start of a whole new year of all that market goodness this Sunday! See you from 10 'til 3 at the Wagga Showground.
19.01.2022 Hey market-lovers, is it time you organised a #riverandwrenroadtrip?! We've been working away on this not-so-little project for a while now, and it's time we sh...ared it with you! Over the past five years, our traders have delighted in your endless love and support. They’ve been able to support their families, they've tested the waters on new products or ideas, and some? They've spread their wings and opened their very own shop front (and our level of pride is off the charts!). We're part of a community, and we see what a difference our market-goers' spending makes to our traders. This year? We want to see that spread even further into Wagga + the surrounding area. The city. The towns. The villages. The entire region. Yes, we've seen some dreadful bushfires, but the drought continues to maintain its (incredibly strong) hold on our region too. That's why we're encouraging you to come on a #riverandwrenroadtrip in 2020. Everyone loves a roadie, and it's the perfect way to support our communities during this challenging time. We'd absolutely LOVE you to time your visit, and encourage your family and friends to time theirs, with one of our six market dates. Let them stay in your spare room, in one of the region's boutique B&Bs, farmstays boasting views over our glorious landscape, or the hotels and motels right in the centre of town. Spend some time exploring the region and show off your backyard (because it's wonderful, and there's simply so much to see!). Take a drive, discover amazing things to see and do, and fill up on fuel and supplies across the region. Then come along to River & Wren (of course) and see our line-up of clever creators, designers and foodies. We'd love for River & Wren to play even a small part in helping our region. We're so proud of the community we've created, and know you’ll get behind it. So, how can you help? Share this post with your family and friends. Pick a date (or two, or six - ha!) from our 2020 line-up and lock in a visit now: Sunday 1 March, Sunday 26 April, Sunday 28 June, Sunday 30 August, Sunday 8 November, and Sunday 13 December. We're working on spreading the message far and wide so stay tuned for more, and in the meantime, don't forget to tag someone you know would love to join you on a #riverandwrenroadtrip in the comments!
18.01.2022 Don’t mind us, we’re doing a happy dance because the next River & Wren Market is just around the corner. There'll likely be quite a few happy dances on the car...ds from our creators, designers and foodies come market day, and it'll be the very first market for the year - yet another reason to celebrate! Are you joining us on Sunday, 1 March?
18.01.2022 Our handmade, homemade and homegrown treasures (along with their clever creators) will be waiting for you from 10am tomorrow at the Wagga Showground, market-lovers! Are you going to be there?
14.01.2022 We'll be back for 2020 in three short weeks - can you believe it?! We'll be there with that magical market atmosphere, our talented line-up of designers, makers..., foodies and all kinds of creatives, and (hopefully) our loyal River & Wren community - made up of the locals and those who come from far and wide to join us! Sunday 1 March. Wagga Showground. See you there.

08.01.2022 Do you have an idea for an event? We're here to help you make it a reality, just like we did with Wagga Wagga Mardi Gras, but you'll need to hurry! Applications... are closing this Sunday 15 March for our Major Events, Festivals and Film Sponsorship (for events you want to run in the last half of 2020). Find out more at http://ow.ly/YJUl50yHm3I
02.01.2022 On the eve of the event and after months of preparations, organisers have been forced to cancel this year’s Mardi Gras parade. The festival is just one of many axed in the region as a caution against the spread of COVID-19. #9News
