25.01.2022 These were amazing to receive today - thank you SO much.

16.01.2022 Our wonderful therapist Abbey going through an online consultation with one of our hand therapy clients. Our little skeleton (not real!) is something we love to use to help teach people about their injuries. We remain open for face to face consultations but are also offering online consultations for those not keen to be out and about, for vulnerable clients or those who think the idea of doing a consultation from the comfort of their home is a good option. We know how important hands and wrists are to all our clients and are ensuring we have an option for everyone. Not sure which option is best for you? We welcome you to get into contact with us and we can help guide you.

15.01.2022 Would you like to join our front desk administration team? We believe front desk administration is a vital piece of any small business wanting to make a difference. We highly value people in this role becuase they make our business flow well and provide our clients with a service they can rely on. We are looking for someone amazing. We need someone we can rely on. Someone who can be a helpful person for our clients. Someone who is a delight to be around and is friendly and ...honest. Not sure if you are amazing? We encourage you to apply and let us get to know you. You might be the person we are looking for! Ideally we are looking for someone who is available part time, and we need someone who can work afternoons. We are happy to discuss days and hours of work and have a degree of flexibility around working hours for the right person. To find out how to apply.... head over to our website home page https://www.riverinahandtherapy.com.au/

12.01.2022 It's getting a little colder! Cold hands can be a painful and can become stiff, which makes it hard to grip, pinch and do quick work. We often find people who have had an injury to their hand and wrist feel the cold more in their affected area. We also know some of you out there LOVE the cold weather, and some not so much - if you don't love it as much as others.... here are some tips just for you.... https://www.riverinahandtherapy.com.au//84-winter-hand-war

07.01.2022 Today is 'Do it for Dolly Day', and here at Riverina Hand Therapy we really value and encourage kindness to all. This day is a special day. A day to be reminded that unkind behaviour can affect people, like Dolly. Let's all get behind this great initiative - what will you do today to spread some kindness?

06.01.2022 Briana is one of our amazing therapists. She is dedicated to coming in to work each day to see her clients and ensure they are getting a great outcome for their hand and wrist injuries. Briana has been seeing clients face to face and also doing online consultations over the internet to make sure no one is missing out on therapy. Thanks Bree - you are a true superstar!

04.01.2022 How do you avoid an itchy, heavy plaster cast? We often make casts for clients here in therapy to support bones that have broken and need to heal, or to support other tissues in the wrist that need a 'rest'. Most people aren't keen on casts - becuase historically in days gone by, they are heavy and itchy - but not any more! Abbey and Bree explain the types of materials we use to support your healing bones. Casting materials applied well these days are pretty good! We can help you choose which type of cast is most suitable for you.

02.01.2022 We remain open to help people manage hand and wrist pain and injuries under the government's essential services. We are open to provide: - Casting for broken bones - Custom made splinting and braces for injuries and broken bones... - Therapy following emergency hand and wrist surgery - Therapy following a recent injury that is affecting your hand or wrist - Swelling and pain following a recent injury or change in your situation - Wound dressing changes and wound checks If you are not sure if you need to come in or not, we can help guide you if you are better to come to a face to face appointment or are suitable for an online consultation. Reach our if you are not sure. We are here to help.

02.01.2022 Got a cast recently? Itchy? Digging in somewhere? Padding coming loose? Fingers going numb? It might be time for a cast change. We've got the good stuff here ready - we can safely remove your old plaster and put on a new one to suit your injury and your needs. https://www.riverinahandtherapy.com.au//92-when-to-get-you
