23.01.2022 Yes, we have exchanged contracts on the sale of our Beach House and we have bought a Motor Home. So Julie and I and our security detail "Riley" will be leaving ...here around the 12th of November for wherever the mood takes us. I will keep in touch via this facebook page but will be stepping back from my political activism. I have a couple of very capable younger patriots who will take over that task. Thanks for the memories. See more

23.01.2022 A traders nightmare

21.01.2022 The irrigation companies which expressed concern are all in Mrs Dalton’s electorate and had several months to work with her to overcome their issues. Why do our leaders and bureaucracies find it so difficult to solve problems with a ‘can do’ attitude? It is extremely frustrating. Mr Marshall said there were claims that we need to wait until the ACCC report is released and then have a national register. Why couldn’t Minister Pavey help establish a New South Wales model, wh...ich may even become an example for others to follow? This issue has been before Parliament three times, which indicates there is a strong desire in the community to develop a solution. Yet we didn’t have the leadership required for this to be achieved, he said.

21.01.2022 FLOODPLAIN HARVEST ILLEGAL The practice of floodplain harvesting is now governed by the Water Management Act (WMA) which prohibits the take and use of water wit...hout a licence. No licences have been issued for floodplain harvesting under the Water Act 1912 of the WMA. Works approvals granted under Part 8 of the Water Act 1912 gave a quasi-right to access water without a licence. These works approvals were for a duration of five years. Since Part 8 was repealed in 2014, they have been converted into flood works approvals under the WMA or they have expired. The Regulation meant expired works approvals were considered eligible works and able to continue taking and using unlimited amounts of water without a meter or licence. With the disallowance, no approvals which are expired are valid. As such, the Water Act 1912 now has no application to FPH. Landholders may continue to exercise their basic landholder rights to capture limited amounts of rainfall runoff. This is provided for by s53 of the WMA and not the Water Act 1912. #returntheestuary See more

20.01.2022 The Murrumbidgee will be destroyed just as they have the Murray if they run it too hard under the stupid Yanco Creek diversion under the Basin Plan

20.01.2022 IRRIGATION CORPORATIONS LOBBY FOR WATER SECRECY Murrumbidgee Irrigation Limited, Coleambally Irrigation and Murray Irrigation all lobbied politicians to vote ...AGAINST my bill for a public water register. Melinda Pavey quoted their strong support for her when she opposed a water register. Are you a customer of these companies? Are they speaking for you? Did they consult with you first before pushing for secrecy? These irrigation companies did not like the fact my water register would publish details of companies who hide their water within their bulk licences. They claimed it would breach privacy, and impose costs that they’d have to pass on to irrigators. That’s rubbish. Under current law, these irrigation companies have to collect that information now. Besides, you’d think with all the money they earn in fees from farmers, they’d be able to record a few basic details about companies within their scheme. Irrigation companies currently know all the water holding information of their customers. Do they buy and trade water themselves? Does that give them an advantage in the market? Why shouldn't all irrigators have access to info on water ownership? At present, it would easy for a foreign company to launder money inside an irrigation corporation. We need transparency. Do you agree?

18.01.2022 WATER POLICY EXPLAINED WITH BEER In my right hand, is Murrumbidgee River allocations. They paid for a full schooner and get to drink 48% of it.... In my left hand, Murray River allocations. From today, they can drink 17% of their beer. TRANSMISSION LOSSES Every time a Murray River dairy farmer sends a beer downstream, they lose another beer in seepage and evaporation But the upstream farmer pays for both beers. I want the beer recipient to pay for the lost beer. VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS A Government bureaucrat swipes between 5% and 15% of the farmers’ beers. He doesn’t pay for it. He says the beer is for the environment but he sells it to a nut farmer. He parks the beer in a brewery owned by a foreign corporate that’s paid for by the Australian taxpayer. I think that’s unjust and am working on exposing it. DILUTION FLOWS We send full strength beer downstream for crow eaters to shandy. SOUTH AUSTRALIANS Get to be drunk even during prohibition. Drink responsibly!

18.01.2022 Friendlyjordies had a one word explaination for why the National Party voted to keep water ownership secret yesterday. He told Marcus Paul In The Morning on 2SM this week. What do you think?

17.01.2022 This is what will happen to you if you express dissatisfaction with NATs policy if a member of the party. No independent thought tolerated. They don't want anyone pointing out that the NATs longer serve the interests of farmers. They'd rather keep deluding themselves.

16.01.2022 Formal engagement with NRAR following the disallowance motion last week has commenced. We’ll await to see their response to how non compliant operators will be dragged to the compliance table, where we’ve been sitting for decades.

07.01.2022 I hope the authorities destroyed it as well.

05.01.2022 MRS Dalton, whose bill to create greater water transparency in the NSW market was voted down by the lower house on September 24, asked Mr Glyde about floodplain... harvesting in the northern basin. The audience of civilians was stunned, but not displeased, when Mr Glyde spoke of 'decommissioning' floodplain harvesting infrastructure built after July 3, 2008. He then reportedly referred to 'punching holes' in dam walls, but said that would be up to NRAR to decide. It didn't take long for the word to get out and the MDBA's head office quickly made a statement: "Phillip Glyde has since spoken to Helen Dalton to clarify what he said. He admits he has represented some of the complex and technical information incorrectly." #returntheestuary See more
