21.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I have to announce Donna Jones has sadly passed away after her long battle with cancer. Donna was one of our original entrants of the rally and also an amazing supporter of Country Hope. Not only raising funds through the rally but also being a major part of Country Hope West Wyalong committee. The love we all had for Donna is beyond words, she was always there to ask if you needed anything done or when things turned to shit if you were ok and ne...eded to talk. Even throughout Donna’s illness she always thought about others before herself and was never one to dwell on the shit hand she had been dealt. Donna we loved you and your amazing personality and are going to miss our talks with you. To both Jacqui and Donna’s families we send our love to you all. Donna’s funeral is at West Wyalong Cemetery on Thursday 10th at 12:00pm. See more

19.01.2022 It comes with great sadness that we have lost an amazing man from our rally family. Barry Lyons was a man who was so full of life and always there to ask if you were ok. To say that he was a man of few words is not correct, this bloke loved a chat and once he got onto a subject of interest then you were in his conversation for the long haul. I myself loved talking to Barry be it on the phone or in person you always walked away with a smile on your face at the end of it. One o...f my proudest moments was when Barry thanked me on his first rally for fulfilling his bucket list locations, being the Strzelecki Track and Cameron’s Corner. Barry was one of the most passionate fundraisers for Country Hope I have come across. I guess this is because Barry knew first hand what it was like to suffer from cancer. Barry you were a great man and we are all so great full to have had you as part of our family. Our condolences and prayers go out to your family. See more

16.01.2022 Hi All, Great to see so much interest in the Redneck River Run event. Time for a quick update. Currently we have been going through the list of all entries. You will be emailed within the next week so don't stress. We still have a few spots available if anyone else is interested in an adventure of a different kind. Camp locations are currently being sourced and mapped out. Caterers have been contacted with menus being organised. All people that have hit interested on event if you wish to go please change this to going and fill in the questions asked along with your email address.
14.01.2022 Great to see the hard work that entrants are putting into their fundraising even during the current Covid-19 pandemic. Proud of each and every entrant and support crew member that are always there to support the rally and our major beneficiary Country Hope. During these times it is when Country Hope need us the most as each month whatever is raised by entrants through their mycause page goes straight to Country Hope to help them continue with their support of critically ill children and their families. Also with fundraising of other events cancelled and families throughout the country struggling during the current times it is amazing to see that no matter how bad these times are people still support such a great cause. All I can say to everyone involved is thank you and bring on 2021.

12.01.2022 Update on Redneck River Run. Final Sign ups and payments need to be completed ASAP. We need to get all catering finalised as well as create a Covid-19 register of all entrants. If you haven't completed your sign up then please get this done as once we create the register there will be no adding extra entrants to this. On a positive note organising is coming along well. The river is looking great with levels up at this stage. Support tow boats are organised for the ones that b...reak down. Camp locations are locked in and are great spots to camp. Secure location for vehicles and trailers to be stored whilst on river is done. A BBQ breakfast is organised by Murrumbidgee Council for the departure morning at around 7:30am on Friday morning. Currently most of you that have committed to entering the River Run have filled in their forms and mailed back to us. however there are quite a few that have sent back no info however are saying they are in the event. If you want to be a part of this event please send back your form filled in correctly by the 01 July 2020 so that we can get underway organising what is needed. If you think that can just sign up on the day or a couple of weeks bef...ore, think again because you will not be allowed entry. Everyone that has already sent their entry in "Please Don't Send Again" we will contact you soon. 03.01.2022 UPDATE ON REDNECK RIVER RUN.... WOW, After only 5 days of launching the Redneck River Run we now have over 43 boats and 100 people reserving a spot in this fantastic adventure. Great to see so many have also opted to make it a family trip. We have had a lot of question come in about the event. Which i will answer a few in this post. Also if anyone needs to know anything please contact me. Contact details below. Questions: 1. What type and size of boat can I bring?... A: A tinny is a small aluminium fishing boat that can travel through the river where there are submerged logs, sandbars etc. so basically if you have a huge fishing boat then forget it as it will not get through some sections. 2. Is this a family event? A: Yes we are opening it to family to attend also. We have a wide variety of people entered so far (family, friends,grandparents & grandchildren). And we will not tolerate any bad conduct whilst on the event. As we want all to enjoy this adventure not just a select few. 3. How do we get our vehicle to the finish? (Hay or Carrathool ) A: We have a 22 seat bus that can transport people back to pick up vehicles at Darlington Point. Or you get a friend or family member to meet you there with your trailer.(which would be an easier option due to amounts entered) We are trying to secure the use of other buses to help out with transport at this stage. There will be a small fee for this around $10 to cover fuel. 4. Do swags and tents go in boat? A: Up to you we are going to have a couple of large trailers with crates on them. So if you want us to cart to camp site we will. 5. Are all meals included? A: Yes we will be supplying all meals Breakfast, Packed lunch, Dinner. However you should also pack extra food to eat throughout the day. Sitting in a boat fishing all day and travelling will make you want to snack. 6. Alcohol and Drinks A: We are in talks about suppliers delivering to camp sites after orders are taken. This is a possibility that will make it easier for all. 7: Do entrants need to fundraise? A: No the sign up fee is all that is required for this event. This will help us to run the Riverina Redneck Rally rather than ask our valued sponsors that assist us each year for money due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We have decided to create an event to enable us to run the Riverina Redneck Rally without placing a monetary burden on our sponsors in these hard times. So this is what we have come up with. 02.01.2022 Well here it is folks 2021 Riverina Redneck Rally route for next year. COOLAMON- NSW to DONALD-VIC with somewhere in-between that only we know The proposed dates are 15th - 19th March 2021. Expressions of interest will be launched in the next few weeks.
