25.01.2022 RIVERLAND FIELD DAYS CORONAVIRUS [COVID-19] The Riverland Field Days is on 18th and 19th September 2020. Being 6 months away it is not possible to determine w...hat the position will be in relation to this virus at that time. The Riverland Field Days is continuing to plan and organise the event; and will monitor the situation week to week. The Riverland Field Days will, of course, follow the advice and directions of Governments in relation to Covid-19. In the event of cancellation due to Covid-19, exhibitors will be given the option of refund of sites fees paid or a credit toward the 2021 field days. We are all hopeful that this crisis will be managed well and be under control sufficiently for us to run a successful field days event in September 2020.

03.01.2022 MEDIA RELEASE - 2020 RIVERLAND FIELD DAYS The Riverland Field Days Committee has made the very difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Riverland Field Days. Consi...dering the uncertainty and restrictions around holding large events, the continuing Coronavirus pandemic, new lock downs and closed borders, the Committee felt that this is the right decision. We are disappointed to have to make the decision to cancel the field days this year, Ian Webber, Chairman, said. We have not missed a year since the first field day in 1958. It is a major event in our region and State, and an important part of business promotion for the many exhibitors. However, the health and safety of our volunteers, exhibitors and community comes first, and we don’t wish to hold an event where that could be at risk, he said. Many exhibitors come from interstate, and a large number of attendees come across now closed borders. Over the past few months we have been carefully monitoring the situation, working with local, State and Federal Governments, and our national peak rganisation, the AAFDA. I want to thank the exhibitors, the volunteers, and all the groups that have supported the field days Mr Webber said. We will now focus on 2021 when we will be back brighter and better on 17th and 18th September.
