16.01.2022 The Showy Daisy (Olearia Pimeleoides) is a hardy plant that can be seen growing across the Riverland in both mallee and floodplain areas. They are often among the first Daisy’s to flower each spring when they show of their flowers amongst a sea of yellow flowering wattles. They can be found across SA and parts of Vic, NSW, QLD and WA. #olearia #daisies #riverlandnativeplants #springblooms

Look for the signs on Anderson Road, Loxton North. Or come and pay us a visit at the Barmera twilight Markets on Sunday, from 2:00pm.

05.01.2022 These vibrant purple flowers belong to the Smooth Halgania (Halgania andromedifolia) which grows in the Mallee areas of the Riverland and Eyre peninsula.

04.01.2022 This flush of growth has sprouted from a Sandhill Wattle (Acacia ligulata) which was planted in the late 90’s. It had been struggling for the last few years with less rainfall but with improved seasonal falls it has sprung back to life #acacia #growyougoodthing #riverlandnativeplants
