15.03.2022 It’s our last day of the season tomorrow Saturday 23rd and we had a fun packed day planned and we would like to invite people from the communities to join us for one last hoorah with the Seasonal Workers in the Riverland. It has been an honour to be a part of this programme which is a first of its kind and even more so privileged to connect with our Pasifika people from all around the South Pacific. ... It’s been an amazing journey and we would like to say a big THANK YOU to each and every one of you who have come to show support whether it was by donating boots for the seasonal workers or contacting me to take up sausages or volunteering your time to come up to the Riverland with us. We are truly grateful and cannot thank you enough for all the kind donations. Most importantly I would like to thank all our Pasifika brothers, sisters and our Riverland community for showing support and love for this programme. And for being a part of it all with us. You’re all legends in our books! Thank you @rugbyunion_sa for this blessing of an opportunity and for all the endless support. 23.01.2022 Meet our reigning champions for the Rugby Touch 7s at the Riverland Pasifika Sports Carnival - These young men have been the most consistent team throughout the Riverland Touch 7s. Their team remind us of brotherhood and their constant encouragement of each other shows through so clearly when they play together on the field. These boys work for the Costa Group out in the Riverland and have been living and working out there since they have arrived from ...Tonga in April 2021. Proud of their efforts week in and week out. Their work is always the priority, but we are grateful to have been connected with these young men who are working to help support their families back at home and to help with the work shortage in the Agriculture sector here in South Australia. These awesome guys are out in the Paringa Sporting Complex every Thursday and Saturday if you’d like to come out and meet them. Get to know them and let them show you how to play Rugby Touch 7s Pictured in the last image are the Samoan Volkeyball Champions who played against the Spartans during he Touch 7s.
