The SA Grape Grower Industry Fund delivers state representation through the Wine Grape Council of SA and national representation through Australian Grape & Wine to its independent South Australian Wine Grape Grower Members. An email will be forwarded in January via Primary Industries an...d Regions SA (PIRSA) to WGCSA members with 3 short questions. Responses to this questionnaire will form part of the final recommendations made to the Minister on the fund’s future. The Riverland offers a diverse array of wineries both small and large, located from Blanchetown in the west to Renmark at the eastern end of the region, over 150km apart. Producing up to 30% of Australia's annual crush, with the largest winery producing as much as 200,000 tonnes each year, and smaller boutique wineries producing around 60 tonnes.
