05.01.2022 As we eagerly await trying the 2020 vintage wines, its interesting to see the trends of the harvest. Read the Wine Australia report in the link. Especially as the wines of our inland region, make up 3/4 of the entire Australian crush. So we might be a small show but we're a pretty significant group of winemakers and growers. "The three large inland regions: Riverland (South Australia), Murray DarlingSwan Hill (Victoria/New South Wales) and Riverina (New South Wales), whi...ch make up around three-quarters of the crush, were less affected than other regions due primarily to the availability of supplementary water....// ...Mr Clark said that the wine sector had made significant investments in research and development, leading to improved vineyard management techniques and water use efficiency since the last drought. https://www.wineaustralia.com//australias-2020-winegrape-c
