Constructed in 1977, following the Reserve Banks commissioning of a series of prestige, purpose-built office buildings in each capital city, the Reserve Bank Building is a premier architectural landmark in the heart of Hobarts financial district. Influenced by surrounding heritage faades, the 10-storey, A-grade building features Tasmanian sandstone, and offers views of both Mount Wellington and the waterf...ront. In 2012 Reserve Bank Building was awarded the Enduring Architecture Award at the 2012 Tasmanian Architecture Awards and today is home to several key tenants, including the Bureau of Meteorology and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. 17.01.2022 For us its all about discovering a sites unique history and creating a sense of place by honouring its surrounds. Fronting onto Flinders Street and backing onto ACDC Lane, the design of our 108 Flinders project reflects the rich, cultural fabric of the iconic laneway through the use of colour and feature cladding, whilst the frontage blends seamlessly with its Flinders Street surrounds. Both facades reflect the unique contextual language of their location. Uniting the project is an internal courtyard featuring a mural, water pond skylight visible to the level below and, an inversed suspended tree sculpture.

17.01.2022 Last night, Melbournes newest waterfront parkland, Seafarers Rest, received unanimous support from City of Melbournes Future Melbourne Committee. An incredible milestone after more than a year of collaboration with Oculus, City of Melbourne, and Department of Treasury & Finance. The 3,500sqm landscaped haven forms a part of our eco-precinct Seafarers, and will revitalise the waterfront, protect Melbournes maritime history, and reinforce our relationship with the Yarra Rive...r (Birrarung). The proposed Oculus design features open lawns, connecting the park to the river promenade, areas for nature play and habitat for Melbournes urban ecology, a flexible-use open space for events, and more.
