25.01.2022 CALL FOR ENTRIES Our annual Art Prize is now open! The River of Art Prize is open to all artists and makers within and beyond the Eurobodalla region. ... Finalists will be exhibited at Gallery Narooma from 16 September through to 26 September 2021, with a first prize of $2,000 awarded to the winning work. Artists whose work is not shortlisted will be invited to exhibit their submitted artwork in the Salon de Refuses at Narooma’s School of Arts’ studios. 12.01.2022 Attention writers of the Far South Coast! Weve teamed up with River of Art to bring you writing workshops in Moruya and Narooma. Wollongong-based writers Hayle...y Scrivenor and Linda Godfrey will be coming down at the end of September to run 3-hour writing workshops as part of the River of Art Festival. Getting Past the Blank Page with Linda Godfrey presents a hands-on workshop aimed at writing a series of short pieces you can combine or develop separately. At The Top Of Your Voice with Hayley Scrivenor will be an interactive workshop centred on voice, character and point of view. Both these workshops will be run twice, on Sat 26 Sept at Moruya Golf Club, and again on Sun 27 Sept at Narooma School of Arts. The River of Art festival will feature a collaborative project to create five new large-scale street art murals in Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma, which will be painted throughout this years festival. Each of the murals will reflect this years festival theme, Resilience and Renewal. The mural art event, called REVIVE, will be led by artist, curator and project manager Tim (Phibs) de Hann. ...
