14.01.2022 We were not disspointed through lack of anxiety today with both our Humboldt (Tyenna) and Thunderbolt (Ouse) mini-hydro's at risk from the 15000ha Gell River Fire currently burning in SW Tasmania. Thanks must go to the Tasmania Fire Service for their efforts and updates throughout the day, as well as all the crews on standby from Sustainable Timber Tasmania, Norske Skog Boyer and Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service. 05.01.2022 A great day was had last month where we celebrated our achievement on building the states latest renewable energy generator. Five years in the making, the 900kw Thunderbolt Hydro has been operational since May and has produced 2.3GWh of energy so far. The project spanned multiple governments and the Tasmanian Liberals were a key contributor to the projects success. Thanks to Angus Taylor MP and others for making the trip to the south and sharing in the celebration.

04.01.2022 With ash from nearby bushfires falling on us most days, we were thankful to have the 2.3km pipeline of our Thunderbolt Hydro finally buried. We’ve got straight on to building the bespoke intake.
