24.01.2022 We had a visitor today at our last junior training for the season ...

23.01.2022 Congratulations to the Senior Men Rebels for making it to the GFs.

23.01.2022 BRISBANE ROAR are proposing to run a Clinic during the school holidays on Wednesday 23rd & Thursday 24th of September a couple of weeks after the season has finished. It is a great opportunity to extend what has been a season like no other and continue their skills development. If you are interested, make sure you jump on and register now so they can confirm numbers www.ROARACTIVE.com.au The Clinics will be organised and run by none other than our former Coaching Director, Neale Smith so they are guaranteed to be worthwhile and lots of fun.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to our joint junior Golden Boot winners, Dylan and Hosea, on 21 goals each. That’s quite an achievement in a shortened season.

20.01.2022 Don't forget the North Zone trials this weekend...

20.01.2022 Hi club, BFQ (our seniors competition) is looking for match day COVIDsafe officers. I believe this is a paid role for Saturday afternoons only. If you're interested, please contact BFQ using the detail in the post below.

19.01.2022 Hi club Just in case anyone has seen the news story referencing the QCSA this morning, it is not our soccer association but Qld Corrective Services.

17.01.2022 Only a few games left to go til the end of the junior season. Don't forget to sanitise your hands, sign in with your manager, and social distance along the sideline in household groups.

17.01.2022 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

16.01.2022 Given the predictions of rain this weekend, it's probably a good time to remind everyone of our wet weather process. The first thing to know is that games are cancelled if it is deemed dangerous to players or damaging to fields. This means that we still play in the rain (all ages including U6) unless it's dangerous or damaging to the fields. If fields are in danger of being damaged, the home club is responsible for withdrawing its own fields from play. This means I can withd...raw only John Oxley in conjunction with North Pine Baptist Soccer, who share the fields with us. I do not cancel all your games. Fields that are withdrawn will be listed in the Weather Alert on the QCSA website (qcsa.org.au) or the BFQ website (bfq.org.au), depending on your competition (juniors = QCSA, seniors = BFQ). As soon as (if) fields are withdrawn, I will contact your team manager, who will contact you. We cancel as early as possible if it becomes obvious that the rain is torrential BUT we also try to avoid unnecessarily cancelling an entire round. It is a delicate balancing act so please be patient. Please don't message the club Facebook or email the club. Please don't contact your team manager or coach. He or she will be in contact if your game is cancelled. If you hear nothing, go to your game and have fun!

15.01.2022 The Queensland Christian Soccer Association is looking to update its logo as part of its new strategic plan. Do you have a skill with graphic design and have an idea for a new logo? You can submit your suggestion to [email protected] by 31 August.

15.01.2022 One of our Rivers families will be down at John Oxley this morning with their coffee van. Ah coffee and early morning games. What a beautiful combination!

14.01.2022 Please note that the North Zone trials have moved to a morning session for the second week on the 28 November.

13.01.2022 NEW DATES: BRISBANE ROAR have moved this clinic to the new year, 14 and 15 April 2021. If you've already registered, your booking will roll over to this new date or you can choose a different clinic. You should have received an email if you've already booked. The April clinics will be organised and run by none other than our former Coaching Director, Neale Smith so they are guaranteed to be worthwhile and lots of fun.

12.01.2022 Taken from Queensland Christian Soccer Association's Facebook Page. Members, The suburbs on the list released by QLD Health, does NOT mean that there is restricted access to the suburbs themselves. Please see shared post below. New updates have been made to Queensland's Aged Care Direction that restricts access to residential aged-care facilities in certain suburbs. It does NOT mean that there is restricted access to the suburbs themselves.

12.01.2022 As you come into the car park at John Oxley this afternoon and tonight, drive slowly. We have a spectator in one of the trees.
