14.01.2022 Spring has sprung! This means our turf becomes greener and will establish faster with the warmer weather! The image shows Kikuyu maxi rolls. Kikuyu is a versatile lawn breed. Kikuyu requires frequent mowing however, it is a quick repairing and high resilient turf. Kikuyu is used in ovals, backyards, golf fairways, council strips, cemeteries and in places with high pedestrian activity. Kikuyu has a thinner blade and won’t produce seed head creating a soft feel. Kikuyu is b...red to Australian conditions of full sun, drought tolerance and shade tolerance. Kikuyu contains a deep root system, allowing it to withstand dry Aussie conditions. In Australian bushlands and ecosystems, kikuyu has been termed as a noxious weed. Kikuyu sold in turf farms are sterile varieties. It is a controlled bredd. The turf sold by turf farmers should not cause unwanted damage as the strain cannot breed independently. Kikuyu is a durable lawn, that is known for its strength and fast recovery. #riversedgeturf #maxirolls #kikuyu #versatile #australianclimate #spring See more

14.01.2022 Water restrictions in greater Sydney are set to be relaxed to level one within weeks as the city's dam levels reach 80% on the back of this month's rainfall. T...he changes were signed off on in state cabinet last night with restrictions to wind back from the 1st of March. The two-week delay is to ensure water quality has improved after the bushfires. Under level one water restrictions residents can use hoses again, although they can't be left running unattended. But the use of sprinklers is still prohibited. 08.01.2022 Rivers Edge Turf is celebrating the rain and lifting from Stage II to Stage I water restrictions. This means manual and automatic sprinkler systems are permitted as long as your turf stays healthy. Now, once the turf is established, then you switch to time limits depending on your location, or ask for an exemption. Thank you #Sydneywater #flooding #byedrought #WaterNSW #Hawkesbury

07.01.2022 Tired of seeing your Lawn look like this? Call Rivers Edge Turf for any expert advice on lawn inconsistency. 05.01.2022 Sapphire is a soft leaf buffalo. Sapphire is 70% shade tolerant, has a fine leaf and is a resilient all-purpose lawn. Sapphire soft leaf buffalo is excellent for residential areas such as front and backyards. It is approved by dogs and owners alike. Sapphire is slower growing compared to kikuyu and couch breeds, so it requires less mowing. Even though sapphire is slower growing it’s a sturdy lawn optimal for children and pets to roam on. Sapphire soft-leaf buffalo is aesthetically pleasing and as it’s name suggests; a softer feeling lawn. Sapphire is a great lawn choice, naturally cooling your house in these warmer months, when compared to hard surfaces. #riversedgeturf #sapphiresoftleafbuffalo #beforeandafter #gogreen #dogapproved #greeningyourlittlepieceofoz #childfriendly #buffalo #springtime #shadetolerant #addvaluetoyourhome
