16.01.2022 We have received the following invitation from the producers of Q&A on ABC: On Monday 25TH February Q+A will run a free bus service from Eastwood. The bus will depart from a central location in Eastwood at approx. 730pm for our Ultimo studio, returning at the end of the live broadcast at approx. 1045pm. Youre invited to join the live studio audience with our new host Hamish Macdonald.... Next Monday on Q+A we are turning the conversation to CHINA. The outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has put our strained relations with China under even more pressure. As the academic year gets underway, our dependence on the Chinese student market is under threat, while tourism, still reeling from bushfires, takes another big hit. Chinese -Australian citizens have become targets of increased racism and once-popular Chinese restaurants are closing. Critics say the epidemic has exposed deep flaws in Chinas autocracy, and the impact will be felt world-wide. So what are the implications for Australia? Our economy, our region and our own community? As always, the questions will be up to YOU! The Panel is still to be announced; Would you like to join us? If so, heres what to do: 1. Please register with us here: http://bit.ly/come2QandA 2.In Question 15. How did you hear about us please write: Riverside Business Chamber We will then be in touch with more details if you are successful in securing a seat. (If you dont need the bus but still want to come along thats fine too).
