24.01.2022 HI All, I am open for business, but not taking new clients for remedial or relaxation massage. People needing lymphoedema management I am accepting with open heart and hands

23.01.2022 Hi all, I am going to thank you in advance for your continued and ongoing patience whilst I am recommencing treatments. With the rather larger number of cancellations I reluctantly did prior to Covid , I need to do a staged recommencement so as not to overwhelm the practice (i.e. myself). I do understand if you wish to go elsewhere. If you have any sign-even minimal of cold/flu like symptoms please reschedule/cancel. we all need to protect each other. currently not taking new general massage clients.

22.01.2022 A simple thing that helps alot, take time out to read this blog post by Jan Douglas, lymphoedema therapist from Adelaide. https://www.movinglymph.com.au/p/the-thoraco-abdominal-pump

22.01.2022 Many women with Lipoedema suffer from problems with body image. It can then lead to mental health issues. No one should hide away on a summers day.

09.01.2022 What is Nordic Walking? Using specially designed poles, nordic walking combines the everyday walking technique with core and upper body conditioning similar to ...cross-country skiing. It is whole body exercise that can be enjoyed by many - the poles mean that effort is shared between the upper and lower body so it actually feels easier than normal walking, particularly uphill. Nordic walking puts less strain on joints than other activities and can be very effective for people with mobility issues or those recovering from illness or injury. It’s also great exercise for toning problem areas such as the upper arms and abdominal muscles. Following the 10 step method developed by the International Nordic Walking Federation (INWA), Nordic Walkers can experience many benefits, including: Burning up to 46% more calories compared to walking without poles. Releasing tension in your neck and shoulders. Improving your posture and gait. Strengthening your back and abdominal muscles. Reducing impact on your joints.
