If your name is not on the roster you may still be required to help on the day and all families are required to assist with pack up at the end of the day. Carnival details: The address is: 119 Station Street, Penrith. Gates open between 7am and 7.30am.... Carnival starts at 8.30am Set up your chairs under the dolphins gazebos so we can all sit together If you are unsure of anything please see Michelle or Leigh at the recording desk on Thursday night, otherwise we will see you at the carnival

24.01.2022 Dear Members, On advice from the council website and from numerous government and medical bodies, the committee have decided the best course of action to keep our members safe is to postpone the annual presentation day, to a date still to be determined. We understand this will be disappointing but please, due to the uncertainty do not bombard us with questions about "when", we will let you know in due course when we have re-scheduled. Can you pick up your trophy/award separat...ely? The answer is NO. We will inform you when we have a clearer picture over the next few weeks. We all must continue to be vigilant and play our part to slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect vulnerable members of our community, including the elderly. Please look out for each other and to follow the medical advice. Kirsten Norton President Riverstone Dolphins R.S.L Youth Swimming Club Inc.

22.01.2022 Club Duties Swap. We have a family that would like to swap their duties on 14th and 21st of Jan preferably for one before Christmas. If anyone would like swap with them can you please respond below. Thanks

21.01.2022 get behind our pool and the awesome staff.

20.01.2022 Just to clarify that EVERY person 18 years and above must sign in individually. Dependants are only your child/ren under 18 years. Only 1 Parent to fill in the dependents on their form (Swimmers and non Swimmers) ALL adult swimmers are to sign in using the code.... We need to know exact numbers weekly for COVID-19 Regulations, if they are incorrect, we will be shut down. ALL Swimmers will still need to be marked off as usual under the Rotunda. If late, they need to be marked off at the recording table.

We will have more details in the near future and we will email information to members, so please check you emails over the next week.

11.01.2022 Dear Members. On Sunday 19th July the club held its delayed AGM for the 2019/2020 Season. At this meeting a new committee were elected for what we hope will be a full 2020/2021 season, though we are aware of the current public health orders and that they might change between now and the beginning of the season may change the complete outlook of the season Unfortunately we said good bye to a long time friend and committee member Tania, We did welcome another long time member ...and hard working person to the committee Stephanie. So we have filled all the committee positions with many people taking on multiple roles which is very sad, but we will do what we can to make the season successful. 08.01.2022 Riverstone Dolphins Club Swimming Club So, you are thinking of becoming a Dolphin? The Dolphins season in 2020/21 will be very different to previous years due to Covid19 Restrictions... Riverstone Dolphins RSL Swimming Club operates between October to March, our pool closes over winter. This year we could be swimming at Riverstone and Blacktown for part of the season due to pool open dates not . Our club differs to others because we are more relaxed about swimming and training, we are more about getting kids of all ages and abilities involved in swimming and encouraging them to improve what they do every week. We are family orientated, with swimmers from 2 to 17 , seniors and veterans. We have competition nights on Thursday from 6:30pm to approx. 8:30pm. (this will be 7.30 -9 at Blacktown) Swimmers are in races with other swimmers of similar times and abilities not matter their age or gender. Swimmers are allowed to compete in 3 swims per night. Our baby dolphins swim 12.5m in 2 events. We cover all four strokes in 25m, 50m and 100m. 200m and 400m freestyle and a 200m Individual Medley. (Some distances will not be offered at Blacktown) At the end of the season we do have a 4 week Championship event were swimmers compete against their own age and gender. This is not compulsory but most swimmers want to compete. We are not holding any training programs this year, due to the uncertainty of the location of our home pool this season We are affiliated with the RSL Youth groups and we do have 4 qualifying meets to gain selection to the State RSL Championships. Swimmers can also join Swimming NSW and compete in other meets at NSW affiliated clubs. (We hope this can still occur, it will be dependant on the Public Health Orders.) This should answer most questions, but if you have any other questions please contact us on [email protected]. Registration will open on 15th September. So keep an eye on this page for location, dates and times.

08.01.2022 Season 20/21 For this club to survive into the future, there is a need for more people to take on roles big or small on the committee. A number of our committee will be stepping down in the coming years and new members will be needed to ensure the club continues. We ask all members to consider how they can help, the AGM will be held shortly and all members will be welcome to come along and apply for a position of they feel they can help.... 2020 AGM. Due to government restrictions we may have to postpone the scheduled date of 7th June 2020. Notification of a new date will be sent to all members when restrictions allow.

We have had lots of enquires from new families moving into the area as well. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, at this time we are unable to give you any more details about the upcoming season. Your patience is appreciated whilst we await information from the council about pool opening dates, we will then be able to plan the season. Presentation Day from the 2019/20 season is also still on hold, we are still hoping to have this event.
