11.01.2022 **SAMSUNG TV ISSUES** ***UPDATE 4***** 21/8 We have received our first batch of replacement parts late yesterday and have complete repairs on a few units, we ar...e expecting larger batches through daily. All Replacement parts are tied to specific job numbers so we will be in touch with customers as their parts come in to organize repair, This repair is at no cost to the customer and we recommend anyone who has not yet called Samsung and booked in a repair to do so, even if you have contacted Samsung early last week and had not received a reference number. ****UPDATE 3****16/8 We have had contact from Samsung and unfortunately the units have not been able to be updated so we will be contacting customers and organising times to replace the main PCB of affected units. Replacement parts are being dispatched to us and we will hopefully be able to start repairs early next week. Again if you have a faulty unit please call Samsung support on 1300 362 603 so repairs can be organised. **UPDATE 2*** We would like to know if anyone with a Samsung TV that has not had a fault and has been able to re-tune their tv after sunday night and has the sky news channel in the EPG. If you are able to comment or sent a PM to the us with your model number it will be greatly appreciated. We have also had reports of the Samsung call centre being overloaded with the high number of calls so there may be some long wait times if you are calling in the morning. *** UPDATE****--- At this point Samsung are requesting all people with affected units to call 1300 362 603 and book in a job regardless of units being covered by warranty or not. Samsung are hoping to release a patch to fix the issue updates will follow. We recommend that anyone with the following fault call Samsung on 1300 362 603. We will also be updating this page with more info as it comes in. Fault Description- Unit powers on and displays the Samsung screen, unit then either powers off and cycles on and off until unit is unplugged or displays a few seconds of normal TV then power cycles as above.
