Another piece finished for this weekends markets at @carseldinefarmersmarkets & @brisstyle I can't decide if I should start adding handles on these pieces or leave them without as it does give more options how to use it. 16.01.2022 I love this time of year in Queensland as Jacaranda trees are in full bloom. Every time I walk or drive past one of these magnificent trees I get a big grin on my face. Did you know that the tree in my logo is a Jacaranda tree?

14.01.2022 So this just happened! My friend came over to my workshop a while back and saw this beautiful burl in my wood rack and just had to have it. At the time we didn't know what it was going to turn into so I put it aside until the right moment.... Then one day I was thinking about her house and a thought came to my mind to make it into a floating shelf. I ran the idea by her and she jumped at it. A couple of weeks later I had it finished with a satin finish and macrame cotton ropes. We hung it from her bedroom ceiling and added fairy lights, it is now hanging above her bedside table displaying her crystals and pot plant. How do you think it turned out? See more

14.01.2022 I will be bringing this side table to tomorrow's market at King George Square as part of @brisstyle twillight market. I've used a beautifully figured Red Gum Burl and combined it with a opaque turquoise resin that goes all the way through. I've finished it off with powder coated white aluminum legs and used threaded inserts so you can remove the legs easily. ... If you want to snap it up before then just send me a PM
13.01.2022 There is something special about Banksia. It's a tree that says; Australia. I managed to get hold of some more Banksia nuts so I have made some sky blue, indigo and red combinations and will bring them along to Friday's twilight market at Gasworks @themarketfolk

11.01.2022 These are the hands that create, they are one of my biggest treasures. Living with RSI has tought me to appreciate them more than ever and to take care of them, listen to them when they are in pain and allow them to rest. Today I thank my hands for allowing me to do what I do.

11.01.2022 When do you start Christmas decorating? Being Swedish we would normally go out the day before Christmas eve and chop down a Christmas tree and do our decorating that night so it's strange to me, to see people decorate 1-2months before Christmas. If you have started decorating already you can grab these ornaments I've made from rescued tree branches, and best of all they look great all year round so you can just keep it around until next Christmas
10.01.2022 I love when I receive customer photos of my work. It is definitely one of the main motivators for me to keep making, to know that it is appreciated and that it brings you joy. This is one of my wall hangings that I made earlier in the year and I kind of wish I kept this one for myself (but , don't tell anyone)
